56. 2019 Portola Valley Walk-Off
For Adults

Donated by: Leslie & Jim Skånberg

That’s right, it’s a walk-off! Bring the best and worst of your favorite fashion to our
runway this October, 2019. It’s about fanciness, it’s about style, it’s about accessories
and spoofing on the world of high fashion. Show us why everybody is saying how hot
you are right now… Men, maybe you will sport a look from Daniel Craig in Casino
Royale? Other guys might feel more of a Will Ferrell in Zoolander vibe. Or are you a
John Travolta in Saturday Night Fever? Who could pull off Al Pacino in Scarface?
There are so many good role models for this one. Just make sure to look goooooood. Ladies, refer to any cast
member of Devil Wears Prada or Moulin Rouge. Daenerys Targaryen #GOT is very hot right now. So is Nancy Pelosi
(that outfit she wore to her swearing-in was amazing). Pull out you dresses, minis, pants, skorts, shorts...whatever!
Just go for it! It’s time to…look gooooooood. Bring your glamour to our country couture in the woods. Paparazzi will
be on hand along with a very stylish runway show,.. and snacks. Beverages will be fabulous. As you can imagine, the
photo booth will be ‘lit’. Haute! Haute! Haute!

59. Portola Vineyards Wine Tasting with the Winemaker
For Adults

Donated by: Len and Vivian Lehmann of Portola Vineyards

At Portola Vineyards, we believe there's something special about drinking local wine.
Since 2005, our family has been producing hand-crafted vintages that reflect the
terroir of the Peninsula foothills, and sharing them with the local community. Many
are surprised to hear that the hills above Silicon Valley have a rich viticultural history.
These foothills were once California's premier winegrowing region, and the small
vineyards here today continue to produce phenomenal wines. We follow a minimalist
philosophy in our winemaking, including the use of native yeast fermentations, to let
the essence of our region shine through. Join us for a private tour and wine tasting,
with a selection of fine cheeses, with the winemaker. This is an event for 10 people.

Join us for an unforgettable performance by world-class musicians (including PVSD
parents) at the Melton home in Portola Valley. "Modern...dramatic...superb...wickedly
attentive...with a hint of rock 'n roll energy..." are just a few ways critics describe the
musical phenomenon that is the St. Lawrence String Quartet. The SLSQ is renowned
for the intensity of its performances, its breadth of repertoire, and its commitment to
concert experiences that are at once intellectually exciting and emotionally alive.
Pianist Laura Dahl is an active international performer and educator, appearing
in venues including Carnegie Hall, the Berlin Philharmonic, San Francisco’s
