week of signing the sponsorship agreement. If my company logo changes at any point, I will notify the sponsorship manager immediately

STEP 4: Statement of Understanding
APIC is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on
Accreditation (ANCC). Our goal is to provide continuing education which is free of all influence or bias, effective in improving practice,
based on valid content, and independent of the influence of commercial interests.
In order to meet accreditation criteria, APIC must have a signed and dated Statement of Understanding between APIC and every
Commercial Interest Organization (CIO) providing outside support. The following restrictions apply to any educational activity for which
APIC offers continuing nursing education (CNE). This does not apply to educational activities that do not receive CNE, or to activities that
offer CNE directly from the CIO.
As the Accredited Provider, APIC maintains responsibility for all decisions related to the activity and attests to the following pertaining to
the Educational Activity and CIO below:
1. The CIO will not participate in any component of the planning, implementation or evaluation of an educational activity for which APIC offers CNE.
2. This activity is for educational purposes only and will not promote any proprietary interest of a CIO providing financial or in-kind support.
3. The CIO will not recruit learners from the educational activity for any purpose.

Full payment is due with this signed agreement. If this payment has not been received within four weeks, the sponsorship item may be
released and this Sponsorship Application form will be declared null and void so that the item may be reassigned.
