Thanks to our incredible sponsors, Space Coast Pride was able to make 2020 a great year with a few
memorable virtual events, despite the Global situation we faced. We are working hard to make 2021 a
much better year and to hold an in person Parade and Festival along with the Rainbow Run 5K! We know
the community needs to come together but we need your support to make this year our best ever, while
still working to make it as safe as possible for our attendees. Your support goes further than just a
weekend; it also allows for us to fight for change and diversity in our community, from LGBTQ+ Youth
Rights to a yearly scholarship offered to high school graduates going to an accredited college, we are
working to support change year-round.
2021 Space Coast Pride
Festival I Parade I Rainbow Run 5K moves
to Historic Downtown Melbourne!
We are excited to announce that we plan to move the venue to Historic Downtown Melbourne this
year! The parade will kick off the day, crossing Strawbridge Avenue and heading East on East New Haven
Avenue, we will be seen by many! Immediately following the Parade will be the Festival. We will be
doing whatever possible to keep our volunteers and attendees as safe as possible to protect everyone,
in respect to COVID.
The Board of Space Coast Pride will continue to monitor the pandemic and CDC advisories to insure that
staging this major, in person, event is not against recommendations. Should we need to cancel we will
work to reschedule it at the earliest possible date or hold alternate events, possibly virtual events. We
appreciate your understanding and your support during the ongoing pandemic!

Who We Are
Space Coast Pride is committed to serving the LGBTQ+ interests in Brevard County by providing
leadership to our community; by offering support and sponsorship of nonprofits that serve the LGBTQ+
community; by educating and advocating for human rights and serving as the call to action for our
community; and through celebration with our festival and parade to celebrate our community.
Meet Our Board Our History
Justin Cercone – President Space Coast Pride started in 2007 as a small picnic and
Megan Miller—Vice President has grown to become one of the most respected Pride

Mission Statement
Space Coast Pride, Inc. is the Lesbian, Gay, Bi-Sexual,
Transgender and Queer+ community organization for
Brevard County, Florida and a non-profit 501(c)3 charitable
organization. Its primary focus is to foster a sense of
community among LGBTQ+ residents and to bridge the
divide with our straight families, friends, neighbors and
organizations. Formerly managed by The Living Room of
Brevard, the Space Coast Pride festival and parade is the
pinnacle of our efforts. Space Coast Pride is committed to
upholding LGBTQ+ interests in Brevard County.

Charitable Giving
Space Coast Pride donates to non-profit organizations that
support the LGBTQ+ community, educate, and raise awareness.
Supporting Local Organizations
PFLAG Melbourne / Space Coast
Parents and Friends of Lesbians and Gays (PFLAG) started with a single
mom marching with her son in 1972 in New York and now has over 400
chapters providing support, education, and advocacy for parents and their
LGBTQ children. PFLAG Melbourne/Space Coast is a valuable local
resource for parents and children. They provide a safe welcoming space
for parents to learn from other parents, for questioning teens to talk to other questioning teens. Our
annual donation to PFLAG continues to help support the community.
Project Response
Project Response was founded in 1990 and is a lifeline for over 1,400 people
in the area living with HIV. They provide case management, education, and
testing. We are very happy to continue to donate every year to support their
mission, along with holding events such as our Drag Thru Food Drop that
helps to replenish their pantry with the support of our amazing community!
Space Coast Pride’s Randall D. Kelly/Kelli Randell Memorial
Scholarship will be awarding scholarships in 2021 for the
second year but the first as a memorial to the wonderful and
Scholarships greatly missed Kelli Randell. We hope to grow this
scholarship every year and we are well on track to doing so
in 2021! Scholarships are awarded to Brevard county
residents enrolled in an accredited Florida university/college
for fall 2021.
FREE Festival Uniting the community with it’s annual celebration to continue to offer a

About The Space Coast
