WELCOME TO EUROTOX 2020
Dear Industry Partners,
The Danish Society of Toxicology and Pharmacology is
honored to organize EUROTOX 2020 in Copenhagen, the
capital of Denmark. The congress will take place from
6 to 9 September 2020. The venue is The Tivoli Congress
Center, located in the city center.
Copenhagen is a historic city that was founded in the
10th century as a small Viking fishing community. The
historic palaces feature ancient atmospheres that are
perfectly suited to contemporary mold architecture. The
cultural and historic settings have inspired to the most innovative trends in fashion,
design and architecture.
Copenhagen has a strong connection with its own waterfront, with a number of bridges
connecting the various districts, the cityscape is characterised by parks and
promenades. Copenhagen's landmarks such as Tivoli Gardens, The Little Mermaid
statue, the royal castle Amalienborg and Christiansborg palaces, Rosenborg Castle
Gardens, Frederik's Church, are significant tourist attractions. It is easy to get around
walking, cycling or with public transportation (metro, road- and waterbuses’).
Copenhagen is an academic city located in an area with 10 universities. Denmark has
one of the strongest clusters within life science in Europe and is among the world leaders
in terms of biotech patents. Copenhagen also hosts the European Environmental Agency
that surveys state of the environment and environmental health in the European Union.
The congress theme “Combined efforts in quest of safe chemicals and medicines” reflects
the congress programme including a variety of topics dealing with safety of drugs and
environmental chemicals, new and emerging technologies, personalized medicine,
human health effects caused by exposure to chemicals as well as safety issues arising
from climate changes.
On behalf of the Danish Society of Toxicology and Pharmacology society (DSTF), it is a
great pleasure to welcome all delegates to Copenhagen for EUROTOX2020.

CONGRESS VENUE
The Tivoli Congress Centre
The venue is The Tivoli Congress Center, located
in the city center, 12 min by metro from
Copenhagen airport, within walking distance to
central city locations such as the Tivoli Park and
the railway station. The congress center,
designed by the architect Kim Utzon, opened its
doors in 2010 and has a capacity of up to 5500
persons. The
congress center
includes a
congress hall, auditoriums and big meeting rooms all at
ground floor. The adjacent Tivoli Hotel has 673 rooms,
swimming pool and exercise facilities. Another 3000
hotel rooms are located within walking distance.

Exhibition area
The exhibition of EUROTOX 2020 is scheduled for four days from Sunday to Wednesday,
6 to 9 September 2020. All exhibition booths will be conveniently located nearby the
session halls and main traffic routes of delegates. Furthermore, the welcome reception
on Sunday as well as all lunch and coffee breaks will be hosted within the exhibition
area to increase booth visits.
Thus, a constant frequentation at the booths will be guaranteed to maximize networking
opportunities.

Industry support is one of the key elements in the success of EUROTOX congresses. Your
presence and generous contributions enable us to maintain affordable registration fees
and at the same time offers you the opportunity to demonstrate your commitment to
toxicology in Europe and beyond.
On the following pages, various exhibition and sponsorship options are listed, from which
you may select different elements up to the amount of your company’s financial
contribution. Thus, please review all exhibition and sponsorship opportunities and
combine those options that suit your marketing needs best.
Sponsorship Categories
When selecting a sponsorship option, you will be given a sponsorship category status
based on the final amount of your support. The total contribution may consist of items
such as advertisements, sponsored sessions, congress materials and exhibition space.
You will benefit from outstanding advantages linked to your sponsorship category.

The deadline for all sponsorship applications is 31 January 2020.
Please note: Priority for assignment of sponsorship items and exhibition space is given
(pending sponsorship category) within the given deadline. Afterwards, priority can only
be granted upon availability. If two sponsors with the same level apply for the same
sponsorship item, priority will be given on a “First come-First served”-basis.

Complimentary congress registrations for exhibitors (valid from Sunday – Wednesday)
are calculated based on the number of square meters purchased:

The complimentary congress registration includes:
• Access to scientific sessions (except CECs), exhibition and poster area
• Refreshments during the official congress coffee breaks
• Light lunch during the lunch breaks on Monday and Tuesday (on Sunday &
Wednesday, there are no lunch breaks)
Additional Exhibitor Passes (giving access to the exhibition hall/catering area only) can
be purchased at a price of € 200 per person. To register booth staff, we kindly ask you to
follow the registrations guidelines provided in your exhibition and sponsorship contract.
Please note that Platinum, Gold and Silver Sponsors receive additional free registrations
depending on the level of support (s. benefits table on page 7).

Booth Allocation
Booth space will be assigned on a “First come-First served”-basis within the respective
sponsorship levels, according to the availability of the requested space. Exhibitors may
indicate their preferred positioning in the exhibition area. A preliminary floor plan can be
found on page 16.

Exhibition space can be booked via the enclosed application form (also available
online www.eurotox2020.com)and can be sent to industry@eurotox-congress.com
Exhibitor Technical Manual
A detailed manual including relevant exhibition information such as technical aspects
for exhibiting, final schedule, deadlines and additional order possibilities will be provided
in spring 2020.

10II. Sponsorship and Advertising Items
All industry partners who decide to book one of the below-mentioned sponsorship
items, will benefit from acknowledgement as sponsor on the congress website, in
the final programme and on the on-site slides (incl. company logo).
Congress Programme, Breaks & Social Events
Industry Symposium Price: € 3,000
Companies can organize their own symposium to showcase new technologies or
products to many delegates who regularly attend the industry sponsored sessions. To
attract even more participants, the sponsor may also provide snacks and drinks during
the session at additional costs. The symposium will be suitably embedded in the official
congress programme. A session room with the required technical equipment and
technical support will be available. The scientific content and selection of speakers is up
to the sponsor (to be approved by the Scientific Programme Committee first). The
symposium programme will be included in the online and final programme. Time frame:
60 minutes, max. 4 in parallel.
Scientific Session Price: € 3,850
Besides plenary and keynote sessions, the EUROTOX scientific programme includes
scientific sessions running in four parallel rooms. Interested companies may sponsor one
of those scientific session. Acknowledgement will be given to the sponsor by the chair of
the session at the beginning. Kindly note: The support of a scientific session requires the
approval of the Scientific Programme Committee (SPC) to avoid any possible conflicts of
interest. The content and selection of speakers will be determined by the SPC.
Invited Plenary Speaker Price: € 1,650
Instead of sponsoring a whole congress session, interested companies may also sponsor
one of the invited speakers. The financial support will be used to cover the travel and
accommodation costs of the plenary speaker. Kindly note: The support requires the
approval of the Scientific Programme Committee (SPC) to avoid any possible conflicts of
interest.
Coffee Break Price on request
Interested companies can sponsor one of the congress coffee breaks (Monday, Tuesday
or Wednesday). Roll-ups and promotion material (supplied by the company) may be
displayed in the catering area on the day of sponsorship.

• Co-Sponsoring (non-exclusive sponsoring, limited to 2 sponsors)
• Exclusive Sponsoring (no other sponsor)
Lunch Break Price on request
Interested companies can sponsor one of the regular congress lunch breaks (Monday or
Tuesday). The company logo will be displayed on the catering tables. Roll-ups (supplied
by the company) may be displayed in the catering area on the day of sponsorship.

On Sunday, 6 September 2020, there will be a Welcome Reception for all registered
participants. Interested companies have the opportunity to sponsor this event, which will
take place in the exhibition area. It offers a perfect networking opportunity. Get in touch
with new clients and/or further deepen your existing business relationships! The company
logo will be displayed on the catering tables and roll-ups (supplied by the company) will
be displayed in the exhibition area. The Congress organization will take care of all logistic
details of this evening.

On-site Congress Services
Speaker Preview Room / Media Check Price: € 2,200
All presenters will use the media check (speaker preview room) to prepare and check
their presentations. This sponsoring includes the display of the company logo/banner on
the screensaver and on the room sign. Mouse pads (supplied by the company) may be
distributed at each work station.
E-Poster Terminals Price: €2,750/day
E-posters will be among the most frequented points at the congress. The sponsoring
includes the display of the company logo/banner on each e-poster terminal. Roll-ups
(supplied by the company) may be displayed next to the e-poster terminals on the
corresponding day.
Congress Materials & Promotion
Congress Bags *SOLD* Price: €5,500
Each fully registered delegate will receive a congress bag together with his congress
material when arriving at the venue. Interested companies may provide their own bags
(to be delivered to the venue in due time in the requested quantity, around 1,500 items*).
Insert in Congress Bags Price: €1,100
To increase the company/brand awareness on-site, interested companies may insert one
promotional item (e.g. flyer, leaflet; max. 4 connected DIN A4 pages) into the congress
bags. The material must be delivered in due time in the requested quantity to the
congress venue, around 1,500 items*).
Pens and Writing Pads Price: €1,100/€1,650
Provided by the sponsor in the requested quantity, around 1,500 items* The congress
organizers will insert the companies branded marketing materials in the congress bags.

12Badge Lanyards Price: €1,650
Interested companies can sponsor the congress lanyards for the name badge which will
be given to every fully registered delegate upon arrival. Companies have to provide their
own lanyards (to be delivered to the venue in due time in the requested quantity, approx.
1,500 items, exact amount to be determined in due time by congress secretariat).
Advertisement in the Final Programme Price: from €1,050
As the main information source for delegates before, during and after the congress, the
final programme is the perfect sponsorship item. It will be available online shortly before
the congress starts and will be distributed on-site to every fully registered delegate,
containing among others the complete time schedule, programme, author index as well
as full information concerning exhibitors, sponsors, committees and recipients of awards.

Advertising in the EUROTOX 2020 Newsletter Price: € 1,100
Interested companies can provide a promotional text (e.g. promotion of products or
announcement of booth at the congress) which will be included in the EUROTOX
Newsletter together with the company logo. The text is limited to 100 words and to be
approved by the congress organizers. The newsletter will be sent electronically to every
pre-registered delegate (who accepted receiving such messages) in advance of the
congress.
Push Message via EUROTOX 2020 Congress App Price: € 1,100
Interested companies can provide a promotional text (e.g. promotion of products or
announcement of booth at the congress) which will be sent via the push function in the
congress app. The text is limited to 100 words and to be approved by the congress
organizers. The push message will be sent during the congress in consultation with the
sponsor.

13MEETING ROOMS
Meeting facilities are available on-site at The Tivoli Congress Centre. Meeting rooms will
be provided on a “First come-First served”-basis (upon availability) during the regular
congress opening hours. On request, technical and catering services can be offered
(additional charges apply). If you would like to rent a meeting room, please contact the
congress organizer in written form specifying your request:
• Type of meeting
• Preferred date and time
• Room size and set-up
• Expected Number of participants
• Technical and Catering Requirements
• Name and contact details of the contact person on-site
Please kindly note that access to these meetings is restricted to registered
delegates/exhibitor staff and is not open to external visitor.
REGISTRATION AND FEES
Complimentary congress registrations (allowing access to the exhibition hall, the
catering during the breaks as well as to the scientific sessions) are provided to
companies based on the number of square meters purchased:
• 6 m²: 1 complimentary registration
• 9 m²: 2 complimentary registrations
• 18 m²: 3 complimentary registrations
Platinum, Gold and Silver Sponsors receive additional free registrations depending on
the level of support (s. benefits table on page 7). Additional booth staff may be
registered at the reduced fee of 200.00 € (giving access to the exhibition and lunch
area only).

ACCOMMODATION
In cooperation with the provider HRS, the congress organization offers hotel rooms at
favorable rates in Copenhagen for delegates. The congress venue, Tivoli Congress

14HOW TO GET THERE
Copenhagen Airport (www.cph.dk) is the
main international airport serving
Copenhagen. It is the largest airport in the
Nordic countries 30 million passengers in
2018 and one of the oldest international
airports in Europe. It is the third-busiest
airport in Northern Europe and the busiest
for international travel in Scandinavia. The
airport is located 8 kilometers south of
Copenhagen city center and regular bus
and train connections guarantee a
comfortable and fast journey to the city
center.
WHY VISITING DENMARK AND COPENHAGEN?
Denmark has a population of 5.5 million people and is
part of Scandinavia. Denmark has the oldest
monarchy in the world. 86% of people in Denmark
speak English.
Copenhagen is located in an area with 10 universities
