Introduction
This is a very exciting time for Women for Sobriety! We continue to empower
more women on their path to recovery from substance use disorders, and we
want to spread the word about WFS even further with sponsors like you.
Up until now, we have been fully self-supported through the generosity of
donations. However, we feel that we can reach even more women in more
significant ways by diversifying our funding - that's where you come in!

conference an even bigger success and bring your brand to this amazing group

What is Women for Sobriety Inc?
Women for Sobriety (WFS) is an organization whose purpose is to help all women
find their individual path to recovery through discovery of self, gained by sharing
experiences, hopes and encouragement with other women in similar circumstances.
We are an abstinence-based self-help program for women seeking to change their
relationship with alcohol and other drugs.
Our New Life Program acknowledges the very special needs women have in
recovery – the need to nurture feelings of self-value and self-worth and the desire to
discard feelings of guilt, shame, and humiliation.
WFS is unique in that it is an organization of women for women. We are not
affiliated with any other recovery organization and stand on our own principles and
philosophies.
WFS offers a variety of recovery tools to guide a woman in developing coping skills
which focus on emotional growth, spiritual growth, self-esteem, and a healthy
lifestyle.

What is the WFS 39th Annual
Weekend Conference?
Every June, women from around the globe gather to learn new recovery skills and
strengthen bonds with other women in recovery from problematic substance use.
This retreat-style weekend offers social activities, workshops, presentations, and
WFS meetings to enhance each woman's use of the New Life Program.
In 2020, with only 10-weeks' notice, the event pivoted from a physical to a virtual
event and registration tripled! The virtual format allowed us to expand our pre-
conference activities to the entire week before the live event and add a 2-week
Replay period after, where women could access the recordings of sessions and
continue discussions on the website.
This year, volunteer planners are hard at work building on the success of last year to
again create an online experience that will delight and enrich all who attend. The
conference is open to all women using the New Life Program to address their
substance use, and all expressions of female identity are welcome.
Who is WFS?
