                                  Nuit polaire
A story about friendship and helping each other, soft and beautiful like a
          Christmas night…
                                                                                                             Picture books
Aku lives alone in the north of the north of the known world, where the sun almost
never rises in winter. One day, he sees a strange little glow between the trees that
seems to be calling to him. Curious, he decides to go and see. He walks slowly
through the deep snow. Suddenly, two shiny eyes stop him. They belong to a fox
who decides to accompany him along his quest. Followed by an owl, a reindeer, a
          bear, a dog…
They struggle forward through the biting cold, but the new friends do not lose
heart. After a magical night, they share a sweet time in the warmth of Aku’s house,
where his lucky star (for that’s what it is) has finally brought them all together.

          ABOUT THE AUTHOR
After a childhood bathed in Kipling’s Just So Stories read to her by her grandmother,
Delphine Chedru studied at the Ecole des Arts Décoratifs (decorative arts school) in
Strasbourg. She then became a graphic designer. But her interest in books, images and
poetry was stronger, and she is now a children’s books famous author and illustrator. Her
taste for visual games often leads her towards little ones of preschool age.
