SPANISH SPANISH LANGUAGE CAMP FOR 12 - 15 YEARS
For 2019, we are introducing a 7 Day / 14 Day Multi Activity Camp done with
LANGUAGE a Spanish Component. The Spanish Summer Camp programme is based
around our normal outdoor activity schedule, but with a Spanish element

to it. Our native Spanish speaking instructors are with campers for
the duration of their activities and classes. Camp includes 1.5 hours
conversational Spanish class 4 evenings per week

WILDERNESS WILDERNESS JOURNEY CAMPS
Older children can spend five days journeying on foot, by bicycle, by kayak and

DAY 2 Prep for Wilderness Journey & travel to the campsite in Achill
DAY 3 Surfing in Achill then cycle to Nephin Wilderness region
DAY 4 Cycle from Nephin to Lecanvey - Kayaking and Campsite Setup
DAY 5 Cycle from Lecanvey to Oldhead - Coasteering and Cliff Jumping
DAY 6 Cycle through Doolough Valley - Hillwalking and Abseilling
DAY 7 Kayak trip on the Killary Fjord to Glassilaun beach

A Killary staff member will accompany the campers on their journey.

At Killary Adventure Co. we care for Connemara. Our aim is not only
to be carbon neutral but to enhance our area for generations to come
Our heating & hot water: Provided by a Biomass (wood fuelled) boiler. Our wood
is sourced from our local forest less than 5km away.
Our electricity: Our Wind Turbine produces part of the electricity used within the centre.
Our food waste: 100% of our food waste is composted.
Our electric vehicles: We use an electric buggy when moving between our
accommodation and activity sites.
