Just Add Water
The City of Hilliard has two outdoor swimming facilities
that operate seasonally. The Hilliard Family Aquatic
Center – one of the largest outdoor municipal complexes
in Ohio – features two 30-foot water slides, a 25-yard
competition pool, an interactive leisure pool which
includes a play structure and 450-gallon dumping
bucket, a 560-foot lazy river with water attractions and
the facility’s original main pool which includes two diving
boards and a 10-foot water slide. The Hilliard East
Municipal Pool features a leisure pool with a 10-foot
water slide and a separate baby pool. A pool
membership is valid at both pools.

Opening Day
Both pools are open the weekend of May 16-17 and
Memorial Day weekend, May 23-25. The pools re-open
for the season at 3 p.m. on Friday, May 29 (the last day
of classes for Hilliard City Schools). See Page 2 for daily
hours.

The East Municipal Pool’s last day of operation is
scheduled for Monday, Aug. 24. Lifeguard staff
availability is reduced significantly beginning Aug. 25, the
first day of the 2015-16 school year for Hilliard City
Schools. All remaining staff is scheduled to work at the

This program is designed for children with special needs ages 3-12 years. This program meets the needs of those children who require more individual

asked to provide an in-water assistant if deemed necessary. Offered only at the East Municipal Pool.

Drop In & Swim (Dates offered: Tuesdays-Thursdays, June 2-July 9)

This program is designed to promote an active aquatic lifestyle for adults (ages 16 years and up) and aims to provide a relaxed atmosphere to participate in
an early morning workout group. Head Coach of the Hilliard Marlins Swim & Dive Team, Jeff Williams, designs workouts to meet the varying ability levels of
all swimmers. Participants can come and go as they please during the 6:30-8 a.m. time frame. This is not a swim lesson atmosphere, but a place to
encourage fitness through swimming. No competitive swimming experience is necessary, but swimming 25 yards (one lap) without stopping is required for
the course. Pre-registration is required either on-line or at the Community Center. No rain dates are offered. Cost is $60 RES/SDN due to the instructor on
the first day of class. Only offered at the Hilliard Family Aquatic Center.
