The land of mountains
From trails which wind around the famous high hills
- for example Moncenisio, Sestriere and Colle delle
Finestre - to the lower valley, the plain of Piedmont is
not flat straight away, but then it eventually starts to
get flatter. What makes this land so special is the be-
auty of the Langhe-Roero and Montferrat areas which
are known and appreciated all over the world. It is no
surprise that is a UNESCO world heritage site.

northernmost point of Lombardy, it is the second
highest municipality in Italy. A favourite destination

Reading off-road routes on the map which
wind along the Tuscan-Romagna Apennines
do not seem impossible. But do not misjudge,
certaiITy you won’t find the Dolomite trails
here, but in this area, it is full of snags with
20% gradients ranging from a few hundred
metres to even 1.5 km long. Even short and
