The School’s new climbing wall and bouldering course was
unveiled to students at the start of the Autumn term. This is a
fantastic new facility for both students and staff to use, which
as well as being great fun, provides an opportunity
for personal challenge and responsibility.
Although many students were nervous of climbing to any
height at the start of the year, most will now get to the top
and have a great time en route! The wall has offered a
chance for Years 7, 8 and 9 to progress with their climbing
and Years 8 and 9 are now all independently belaying -
singularly responsible for the safety of the climber.
