new opportunity to stand in your power and
make your life all that you want it to be. And
sometimes, all it takes is a little home refresh
to eliminate distractions and focus on the
things that matter most in your life!

ENTRYWAY/MUDROOM
  Wipe baseboards
  Magic Erase walls
  Clean doormat
  Sweep or vacuum floors
  Mop floors
  Organize shoes
     Categorize by person, style, frequency, etc. Whatever suits your lifestyle!
     Face pairs one shoe backwards, one shoe forward to maximize space
     Tie shoelaces
  Hang coats & jackets
     Swap out mismatched hangers for a cleaner look
     Face all items the same way
     Zip up & button items

LIVING ROOM
  Dust surfaces & objects
  Wash slipcovers
  Vacuum under couch cushions
  Sweep or vacuum floors
  Dust blinds & curtain rods
  Clean ceiling fans
  Sanitize electronic controls
  Organize games & puzzles
     Categorize by genre, color, or size
     Decant puzzles into vinyl pouches or jars

  Declutter countertops
  Go through "junk" drawer
  Go through condiment packets, plastic utensils, and napkins from takeout meals
  Clean stovetop
  Clean oven

  Clean dishwasher, outside and inside
  Clean fridge/freezer, inside and outside
  Clean oven, inside and outside
  Clean microwave, inside and outside
  Clean dishwasher, inside and outside
  Degrease vent hood
  Degrease cabinet doors and backsplash
  Clean rags, sponges, and dish brushes
     Discard any that are tattered or worn
  Magic Erase walls
  Discard old & expired food
  Wipe baseboards
  Sweep or vacuum floors

BEDROOM/CLOSET
  Vacuum carpets
  Dust or vacuum curtains
  Wash bedding
  Flip mattress

  Purge your clothes
     Donate, sell, and discard as you see fit
  File fold clothes in drawers
  Color code hanging clothes
  Swap out mismatched hangers for a cleaner look

BATHROOM
  Scrub bathtub
  Clean shower head

LAUNDRY ROOM

  Categorize laundry supplies
     Purge anything older than 3 years
  Clean countertops
  Clean mirrors
  Wipe baseboards

  Check vents

OFFICE
  Go through "junk" drawer
  Test all pens and discard any out of ink
  Empty 3-hole punch
  Digitally file and shred archived paperwork
  Recycle unnecessary paperwork
  Discard & replace worn file folders
  Sanitize electronic devices
  Sweep or vacuum floors
  Dust surfaces

PLAY AREA
  Purge toys and belongings with kids
     Teach them the importance of giving to other children who have less
  Sanitize plastic toys (use soap & water)
  Categorize toys and give each one a home
     Use covered bins for smaller toys for safekeeping
     Use uncovered bins for larger toys that still need containment
     Large toys like dollhouses do not need binning, rather just make sure they have
     a designated home
     Label each area with pictures of the items for easy clean-up
  Sweep or vacuum floors
  Wipe baseboards
  Dust surfaces

GARAGE
  Pull out large items and categorize
      Create zones for each
      Place them back based on where they would best serve your lifestyle

  While items are out, sweep floor

  Air out garage to remove must and dust

  Sweep under any free standing shelving

  Purge categories not frequented

  Discard any flattened balls or damaged toys

  Wipe & Magic Erase walls

  Deep clean garage door

  Dust surfaces

  Wash windows

  Clean fridge/freezer if stored in garage

  If storing backstock food in here, discard expired goods

  Switch to more durable storage containers if items are in cardboard boxes
      Opt for air or weather tight containers to prevent long term damage
      Use clear bins so you can see what's in each bin

  Hose out your trash cans

  Spray pest killers in corners and around perimeter
