R educe Reuse Recycle - Waste & Recycling Guide 2019-20 Town of Claremont
New Green Waste Bin
in Claremont
From January 2020, the Town of Claremont will introduce a
green waste bin for eligible properties.
Properties greater than 400m2 will automatically be given a third, 240L
lime-lidded green waste bin. Other properties can opt-in for the service
via an online request form that will be located on the Town’s website from
September 2019.
Strata-managed multiple dwelling sites will be contacted independently to
discuss green waste requirements and how the service can benefit them.
More information will be provided through the rest of this year as the Town
transitions to this new waste management system.
