Welcome to Rosa Athletics
My name is Chris Del Rossi and I’m the Athletic
Director here at Rosa. This year has been challenging
to say the least but as a Rosa community we can
make our spring season something to make our
students get back to some positive routines.
7Rosa’s 2021 Spring Sports Program
The following sports are offered this Spring Season:
Baseball(7&8th grade only), Softball and Boy & Girls Track.
Tryouts begin on 4/7 so all forms must be in the nurse’s hand by
3/24.
Each coach will have a google meet meeting during the afternoon
after morning classes . Each coach will announce when their
meeting is. Codes will be posted on Blackboard and on our Rosa
homepage. Each coach will talk to how this or her tryout season
will look and explain how we run our sports teams. Remember a
mask is mandatory during tryouts. It will not be worn during
practice or games unless you are sitting on the bench.
Please note that tryouts/practices will start around 3:00-3:15
and end at 5:00. Late buses will be available at 5:00. If you want
to pick up your child, we expect you to be here in the parking lot

17Most important facts regarding
practices and games
● There will be no bussing to practices. Students must have a ride
to the school for practice. The district will provide late activity
bussing from practice.
● Just a reminder that families have to arrange transportation for
tryouts.
● Practices will start between 3:00 & 3:15. Because there is a 25
person limit to our fields parents/guardians are not allowed to
view practices. Students must be prepared to participate because
locker rooms are unavailable.
18Most important facts regarding transportation
● The late bus will leave Rosa at 5:00.
● Anyone not picked up by 5:00 will be required to board the late
bus.
● Students athletes must take the bus to all games/meets. This is
because the pod of athletes will be checked for any medical symptoms
before they leave for events and get on the bus.
● Families will be able to take student athletes home from games/meets
as long as the appropriate transportation form is filled out. This can be
found on the Rosa Athletics page
