Château Giscours Margaux 3ème Cru Classé 2006 £195
Margaux, France
Chateau Giscours is one of the largest properties in the Medoc, the property was taken over
Dutch businessman Eric Albada-Jelgersma in 1995. Herbaceous, earthy, truffle notes intermixed
with sweet cherries, plum, and currant are present in this soft, medium wine.
Château Leoville Barton 2ème Cru Classé 2008 £220
Saint Julien, France
Leoville Barton is now one of two Chateau from the 1855 Classification of the Medoc that
remains in the hands of the same family that owned it at the time it was classified. Tobacco leaf,
cigar wrapper, cedar and green pepper corns are the first you notice. Full bodied, quite crisp and
sharp, this is concentrated, peppery and crisp.
Château Figeac 1er Cru Classé 2004 £295
Saint Emilion, France
Chateau Figeac is an ancient Bordeaux vineyard. In fact, the genesis of the estate can be dated as
far back as the second century during the ancient Gallo-Roman period. At that time, the owner
of the property, Figeacus gave his name to the villa he built on the same location. Dry and
complex with ripe red fruits and berries, dried figs, toast with long finish.

This Saint-Julien estate benefits from vines aged 57 years on average, planted on gravel typical of
the Medoc. Voluminous, with soft, ripe berry fruit flavours spreading easily across the cushioned
palate.

The 75 hectares of this vineyard border the property of Chateau Latour and stretch south of
Pauillac towards the commune of Saint Julien, it gets its extraordinary charm. Exudes a mix of
