PUT YOUR KITCHEN
WASTE TO GOOD USE
More than 700 tonnes of food
scraps are being diverted
from landfill annually in the
City of Tea Tree Gully. That’s
the weight of about 460 family
cars. This is largely due to
residents’ usage of the Mini

About 8,500 households now
have a Mini Muncher so they can
collect kitchen waste for their green
organics bin.

Once this waste has been collected
by our trucks, our contractor, Jeffries,
processes the contents of the green
organics bins into nutrient-rich
compost in just eight weeks.

The composting process helps close Tyla, Blake and Brooklyn, of Vista, show off the Mini Muncher and sticker pack.
