Aerial footage taken by drone is a new way of capturing the
grandure and details of your venue in a whole new way. Previously
only available with expensive helicopter hire, drones are a
convenient way of showing off your dream venue and setting the
scene in your wedding video.
Please note: drone footage is subject to venue permissions,
location, weather & safety.
Russell Nicholls is a certified UAV pilot authorised
by the Civil Aviation Authority to perform
commercial flights.

Hi, I'm Russell. I've been creating cinematic films for
weddings, promotional campaigns and events for years. I'd love
to work with you to film your wedding. I'm a qualified drone
pilot and have flown them for more than 5 years - I love the
results and change of scenery from up in the air! I also direct,
shoot & edit my films to give my clients the whole video
package. I love working alongside other creators, brands,
venues and photographers to create quality content. There's
nothing better than seeing my client's eyes light up when they
see how their big day represented on video in ways they never
thought possible. I'm also a recommended supplier at some of
Kent's top wedding venues.

TERMS & CONDITIONS
the small print
BOOKING: Once you have decided to proceed with booking your wedding film, a
meeting or phonecall will be arranged to discuss your day in further detail. Should you
decide to go ahead, you’ll fill out a contract information form which will provide
Russell Nicholls with data to write up your videography contract. Upon receiving this
contract, the deposit becomes due to secure your date. By paying the deposit, you are
agreeing to the Terms & Conditions, and your booking is confirmed.
DEPOSITS AND PAYMENT: A non-refundable deposit is payable to secure the
date of your wedding. In the event that more than one client wishes to book my
services on the same day, preference will go to the first client to make a deposit
payment. The remaining balance must be cleared within 1 week after your wedding
date. Rescheduled weddings will only be accommodated if the new date does not
conflict with an existing booking. Deposits are non-refundable, unless a cancellation
occurs on Russell Nicholls’ behalf, for example, accidents or illness, then which the
deposit will be refunded.
FILMING: The Client assumes all responsibilities for obtaining any necessary
permission, clearance permits, etc., which may be required for Russell Nicholls to
record each event, public or private. The Client assumes all responsibility for
obtaining and retaining permission for access to any requested camera positions and is
solely responsible for the quality of the final production resulting from the use of, or
inability to use, such camera positions.
Russell Nicholls will not be responsible for coverage lost due to access restrictions. It
is the Client’s responsibility to inform Russell Nicholls of all timings and locations for
the wedding day, if timings are changed it is the clients responsibility to inform
Russell Nicholls of updated timings.
EDITING: All creative aspects such as shooting and editing style are at the discretion
of Russell Nicholls, the Client acknowledges that they are familiar with the existing
portfolio and is requesting services with knowledge of the company’s style.
Accordingly, the Client acknowledges that the videos shall not be subject to rejection
on the basis of taste or aesthetic criteria as they are familiar with Russell Nicholls’
artistic style.
STYLE: The Client has critically viewed samples of Russell Nicholls’ videography and
hereby grants full editorial and production control to Russell Nicholls. In the event a
particular segment of the event is either not recorded, partially recorded, or not a part
of the finished product, it is at the sole discretion of Russell Nicholls as the exclusive
producer of the events videography to amend these to the Client’s needs. Russell
Nicholls will not be held liable for any production problems beyond his control, for
example, poor weather, accidents, interference from guests. Russell Nicholls reserves
the right to terminate this contract at any time for any reasonable cause, e.g. accident
or ill health, in this event all monies will be refunded in full. Upon taking possession of
the finished product, the client must inform Russell Nicholls of any technical or other
problems with their product within 7 days. After the 7 day period, if no notification has
been received, the client will be deemed satisfied with the product.
DRONES & AERIAL FOOTAGE: Russell Nicholls holds as PfCO (Permission for
Aerial Work) granted by the Civil Aviation authority which is a mandatory
requirement for flying Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) commercially. Insurance is
provided by Flock Cover, and underwritten by Allianz. If aerial videography is part of
your wedding, it is at Russell Nicholls’ full discretion if it will be included on the
wedding day on safety, access & weather grounds. Safety is of upmost importance.
