About the Redneck Ride for Parkinson’s
Ride to Raise Awareness & Funds for Coloradans with Parkinson’s
This 24-mile bike ride through the foothills of Larimer County will raise
awareness of Parkinson’s disease and critical funds for individuals in our
community.
John Jacquinot has a passion for those battling Parkinson’s and are also challenged
with a fixed income. For the eighth year, John is championing a bike ride to give back to
the Colorado Parkinson’s community. All funds raised from this campaign will be designated
to fund the Parkinson Association of the Rockies’ Pay It Forward fund – a fund providing exercise
classes to the Colorado Parkinson’s community at no cost.

No Entry Fee Required - $30 Suggested Donation from Participants
Register before August 7th to reserve your spot!
John has also partnered with others in our community and planned the stops along the way to include
lunch and a gathering to celebrate at the end of the ride. Now he just needs your support. You’re welcome
to join John for this ride and create some incredible community awareness for Parkinson’s disease, make a
donation or ask others to make a donation to this event.

Supporting the 8th Annual Redneck Ride for Parkinson’s
As this event continues to grow in size and popularity, we are required to cover specific expenses; such
as insurance, permits and patrol for the safety of the event participants as well as covering the cost of
transportation and restroom facilities for the riders. John’s preference is to continue to offer this event to the
public without requiring a registration fee.
In order to ensure we can successfully host the 2020 Redneck Ride for Parkinson’s, we need to
first secure an estimated $6,000 in sponsorship commitments. (Additional expenses for food
and beverages are in the process of being requested as in-kind contributions.)
With your support, we can host the 8th Annual Redneck Ride for Parkinson’s to
benefit the Parkinson Association of the Rockies’ exercise and activity classes. The
Parkinson Association of the Rockies is a 501(c)3 non-profit.
