                                                                    Celebrity chef Curtis Stone is pushing into a new Downtown restaurant
                                                                    space alongside his brother Luke Stone. The pair co-own the popular
                                                                    Gwen in Hollywood, and now will coordinate on a sprawling restaurant
                                                                    space in the historic Trust Building at West 4th Street and Spring.

The unnamed new restaurant is still far from completion, but reps for the Stones and partners Cultivate Hospitality Group, a hospitality
consulting firm, and Rising Realty Partners, say that the 4,000 square foot restaurant should open sometime late next year.

As for the space itself, the restaurant will follow the same Art Deco template as the 1928-built Trust Building, which has been overhauled
with a variety of redone retail and office spaces, much like the rest of Downtown. Peter Peterson, managing partner of Cultivate, called the
property “one of Downtown LA’s greatest historic buildings” in a statement sent to Eater.

Curtis Stone already operates Michelin-starred Maude in Beverly Hills, as well as meat-centric daytime cafe and evening steakhouse Gwen
with brother Luke Stone. The pair tell Eater that the Downtown restaurant will be distinct from both, but that they have not formalized a menu
yet. Expect something in the last quarter of 2020.
