Current entry requirements
Austria (as of 08.02.2021)
Mandatory testing for commuters & registration upon entry into Austria:
The COVID-19 entry regulation amendment is effective Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2021, and
provides the following:
› Weekly commuters must register before entering the country in the form of pre-travel
clearance. For daily commuters, it is sufficient to register once a week.
› Furthermore, commuters from abroad require a medical certificate of a negative test
result or a negative COVID test certificate issued in Austria, which is not older than seven
days and is in German or English. This must be presented in the event of a control.
› If entering without a test certificate, he/she must be quarantined, but can clear within 24
 hours.
› In principle, the costs for the test are to be borne by each commuter him/herself.
Registration for free tests is possible via www.oesterreich-testet.at.
› We will offer free COVID tests for contractor employees entering Austria for an
assignment at the Villach site: Appointment booking is possible by calling
 0043(0)5 1777 2404.

Current COVID 19 measures
(Status: 05.02.2021)

Please observe the following measures and hygiene guidelines for the containment
of coronavirus at Infineon Austria:

Minimum distance of two meters
The minimum distance of two meters applies in general. This also applies to the
workplace and workstations. Passenger elevators may only be used individually.
The minimum distance of two meters also applies outdoors and therefore also in the
smoking areas. Please strictly observe the distance, especially in the break rooms and
coffee kitchens. Please also strictly adhere to the permitted maximum occupancy of
the smoking areas on site.

General MNS obligation, partial FFP2 mask obligation
In enclosed spaces in workplaces, maintaining the minimum distance of two meters
and wearing a mask covering the mouth and nose area is mandatory. Thus, the MNS
obligation applies in all Infineon Austria buildings, including at the employee's own
workplace. If the minimum distance of two meters is not maintained, the mask
obligation also applies outdoors with immediate effect.

According to legal regulations, the wearing of an FFP2 mask (without valve) is
additionally mandatory at the Infineon Austria plant premises in the following areas:
› In the entire building 05
› In the locker rooms and sit over
› In all areas where the new minimum distance of two meters cannot be maintained, it
is recommended to wear an FFP2 mask

Infrastructure Location Villach
FFP2 masks are mandatory in the entire building 05!

Break rooms
We are aware of the fact that especially during the break times the rooms are currently
very limited due to the limited occupancy. Nevertheless, we ask you to strictly adhere
to the minimum distance of two meters and the mask requirement, as we have already
had cases of infection in the break rooms due to non-compliance. Especially if you
drink or eat something, please keep the two meter distance for your own health! Let's
help together and please also make your employees aware if the measures are not
implemented accordingly. We also request that you consistently adhere to the
maximum occupancy and minimum distance in the smoking areas.

Cafeterias
Please note that CaFETeria and Café Ella will be closed until further notice.

Please help and also make your employees aware if the measures are not
implemented accordingly.
