CELEBRATING 50 YEARS AS A SAINT

  Marie Rose Julie
  Billiart was born
  and baptized on
  July 12, 1751 in
  Cuvilly, France.
  Her life was
  marked by a
  great desire to
  make known
  the goodness of
  God. She began
  teaching about
  God's goodness
  at an early age,
despite a paralysis that crippled her at the age of 22.
Julie was miraculously cured in 1795 on the Feast
of the Sacred Heart and continued teaching until
her death. Although she was persecuted during
the French Revolution, she kept an unshakeable FOLLOW US ON SOCIAL MEDIA + THE WEB
confidence in the good God. On February 2, 1804,
she founded the Congregation of the Sisters of www.facebook.com/SistersOfNotreDamedeNamurOhio
Notre Dame de Namur, dedicated to the education
of young girls and especially the poor, and to making
known God's goodness. Julie died just 12 years later. www.youtube.com/channel/UCIR4latCtInQmn0JCMSfr7Q
