our Global vision :
OSMOSE Collective’s mission is to encourage new forms of cooperation,
mutualization and solidarity between individuals, collectives, NGOs,
communities, cooperatives, companies, start-ups and entrepreneurs.
The organization makes cultural events, develops decentralized tools
for cooperation, communication and meetings in order to promote the
values of the Social and Solidarity Economy.
OSMOSE defends by all possible means the values of peer-to-peer
sharing between individuals and organizations, and encourages the
emergence and development of cultural, artistic, humanitarian or
social innovation projects.

our technical mission:
For the past 2 years, OSMOSE Collective has been preparing the gradual creation
of an ecosystem that shares strong cooperative values.
Our technical vision is composed of 3 important elements:
The basis is a network based on a DPOS protocol with 42 delegates.
The second layer is the composition of a mesh network protocol allowing users
to communicate messages and transactions without an Internet connection.
The Berty protocol is developed by a dedicated team, led by Moul, co-founder of
OSMOSE. The OSM token therefore also provides an incentive to become a relay
for the mesh network.
The third layer is that of the generation of «disposable» Blockchains for specific
and ephemeral cases. (e.g. a rave party in an area without an Internet connection,
a demonstration during which telephone operators cut off the network.)

We have therefore decided to
focus on our main goal :

Decentralized Cooperative platform
for iWorkers, digital nomads & coops
This vision includes a plateform for workers, who’re also associated
with the cooperative company and receive rewards from benefits of
the coop. All users are associated with governance, funding of new
services, community governance, and benefits.
To work on this long term vision, we started to create services step
by step and growth organically, without any big marketing process,
with real “meetings” of a new community :
SHort-term vision :
Development of ticketing & cashless
Service for cultural events (festivals, concerts, meet-ups, exhibitions, theatre,
hackathons...) and during first steps on our community events in Paris!
Let’s start with 500 people on each gig, and growth organically.
User experience is precisely like others ticket services, but people will receive
rewards and can vote for next events of delegates, or others projects. Some
people will say it sound like an airdrop, but people will not come here just for
it, they share a real moment, and support the indie art scene.

Through OSMOSE Collective and our cooperative company dedicated to production, our
goal is to create an “in real life” world community.
Samouraï Coop is a coop production company based in Paris, with an extensive
network throughout Europe, a diversity of partners in independent and underground
music, events, films, and media.
We believe that it is essential to create opportunities for regular meetings to develop a
healthy ecosystem, to allow encounters and offline interactions.
Culture, music, arts, chill, is a major component of osmosis culture.
Our history is not based on a Marketing campaign, but on parties, festivals, and great
moments with artists, professionals and public.
We’re going to do what we know and experiment a new way to spray our project all
over the borders.
Our humble network is already on 4 continents, and we hope people will like it.
We are putting considerable energy to support various workflows
including fully off chain events (with no internet connection), or supporting
people that don’t like technology or just don’t have smartphones.
Mesh-network & private messaging
One of our 3 OSMOSE co-founders is also a security specialist and the founder
of Berty.tech (NGO), which focuses on the deployment of a mesh network-based
encrypted messaging application. The complementarity of our developers is
particularly interesting since our objective on the OSMOSE Blockchain is to allow
Blockchain transactions without Internet access, and without a cellular network.

artists, producers and organizers in Europe. As a cooperative, it
allowed mutualization of tools, professional networks, studios,

14Why aren't we doing
an ICo?
Progressive Coin Offering rather than Initial Coin Offering.
We’re just following «Membership process» of Coop Companies.
We’re not aiming the cryptotrader, we’re aiming public of our parties,
projects we trust, coop & dev team we respect & your grandma is also invited.
We do not ask anyone to invest or join the OSMOSE cooperative.
Do not invest in OSMOSE if you do not understand its long-term global vision.
In concrete terms, we prefer to have 1000 supporters from people, companies, teams,
start-ups, or investors who really understand the vision, than to raise more funds than
necessary from people who have not understood the project.
During about 8 years we organized parties, gigs for independent musicians, festivals
and tours, and meetings for cooperators from all over the Europe. We now just want
to iterate and scale this methodology, backed with an independent DPOS Blockchain.
We are not doing an ICO. Entering the ecosystem means carrying a political vision
defending the cooperative vision, and supporting the development of exclusively open
source applications, to offer an alternative to giant platforms (Upwork, Digitick, etc.).
Our ecosystem is not in competition with existing cooperative or decentralized
projects, but in cooperation with those who wish to do so
(NGOs,start-ups, coops, blockchain projects, etc.).
As soon as our core values have strong common points, the core team will support
their request to become a delegate of the network, and thus OSMOSE will be
gradually decentralized, until reaching a total decentralization in year #2.

We believe it is important for our team to demonstrate our commitment
by providing initial tools and services before applying for funding.
Our main goal is to create a transparent relationship with ecosystem
member.
That’s why we made an important decision:
- Develop, deploy, and make our work available without ICO.
Decentralization as a process, not as a starting point.
We fully assume that decentralization cannot be implemented from the
first day of the launch of our Blockchain.
We have imagined a process starting from a «centralized» state to
gradually onboard the actors and members of the ecosystem with a
healthy vision.
On the first day, we set up a small number of network delegates (12) who
are identified as project leaders, structured and driven by values.
Then the decentralization process begins.
Any project leader can submit a proposal, and be elected to become the
new delegate. Thus, the election of new delegates up to 42 is ensured by
the community and the elected delegates.
Of course, anyone from all over the world can submit a proposal, and the
more our events will bring people, the more user will vote for it.
16Legal framework
OSMOSE Collective is a non-profit & non-governmental organization created in
Paris, France.
This NGO has been founder by 3 co-founders after many years of experimentation,
NGO & Coop experiences.
Official Registration is registered with the French administration as « OSMOSE
Collective ».
Date of creation : May, 16th 2019 with number W913012286.
It is founded by a team of various profiles, both on the technical side and on the
professional sectors of cooperative companies, non-governmental organizations,
non-profits, event, and film production companies, coops and start-ups.
Membership is open to any individual or legal entity.
This NGO will be transformed after 1 year of development into a SCIC* company.
*Cooperative Society of Collective Interest.
This period will correspond to step 2 of the project’s decentralization, and will
ensure a legal framework adapted to full on-chain governance.

Some will say that we should use Ethereum, or Cosmos, etc.
We have chosen ARK for several reasons:
The first is technical: we were looking for a DPOS protocol with a strong
interoperability vision, which could provide a high number of transactions per
second while making possible the scalability, stability, and with significant
network robustness.
We have been members and contributors of the ARK ecosystem for nearly 2
years, and we are very proud of what the tech team realise. They are among the
most serious and active in the world of Blockchain.
Admittedly, ARK is unknown to the major media podiums and the general public.
We like the fact that this team works with cleanliness and rigor, a code accessible
to all, exemplary documentation, and total transparency of their work.
In addition, the ARK community is one of the most caring communities we have
ever seen. There are many active members, and a fraternal atmosphere prevails.
