CLUB A NEWSLETTER 2023
Our club had its final meeting of the year, it was our
Christmas party held at Sal Deforte’s restaurant on
Wednesday, December 21st. Thirteen members were
present, because of limited numbers we decided to dis-
band the club. We were no longer able to continue the
activities that made the club successful.
The remaining members were encouraged to visit the
other clubs in order to decide whether they would like
to join another group.
On behalf of myself and the other officers, it has been a
pleasure serving, and being a member of this amazing
club.
Best wishes for a healthy, happy and prosperous New
Year!

“ NURSING HOME HOLIDAY PROJECT”
On December 5th, we delivered the do-
nated goods to the nursing home. As
usual , we hand made lap robes and
shawls from Kate Gater and Rosalie
Comisky. Many holiday cards for the res-
idents to send to friends and relatives.
Bags filled of needed desired goodies for
the holidays. This annual event has been
around for many years, with some of the “LOVE IS THE ONLY FORCE CAPABLE

Some of our members and their guests celebrated
the Christmas holiday by having a luncheon on Friday,
December 9th. It was held at the Hollowbrook Com-
munity Center. We hope to welcome some new
members in January as we make plans for our 2023
activities. Our next meeting will be on Friday, January
13th at 1:00pm.

CLUB “C” NEWSLETTER JANUARY 2023
December 20th, meeting was our Christmas
luncheon held at “ Mama Floria’s”. Sylvia Carroll
opened the meeting at noon and we had a mo-
ment of silence for two members that passed
away in 2022, Sally Houghton and Maria Hegyi.
Marge Swanhardt led all in prayer, and we pro-
ceeded with a wonderful lunch.
During lunch, Sylvia called ticket numbers for
Christmas gifts donated by Betty Donnelly in
memory of her niece Jody Donnelly who passed
away. Everyone received a beautiful gift. Fifteen
members attended , wishing everyone a very
Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year 2023.
