                  Wink If You’re With Us

    This year, Mary Kay had the honour of hosting the Wink
    Mobile at corporate head office in Mississauga on June 17th
    to celebrate Wink Week! The Wink Mobile is a charitable
    initiative that provides mini-makeovers while raising funds to
    help women battling cancer and the accompanying emotional
    trauma that is the Cancer Blues.

    Now in its second year, Beauty Gives Back launched #winkday
    to encourage people from coast to coast to make their eyes up
    blue and create a “Wink If You’re With Us” video or selfie.
    Participants were encouraged to post to social media to tell
    other women about the Cancer Blues, how it affects women
    going through cancer, and how important it is to talk openly
    about this aspect of the cancer journey. Thousands answered
    the call, and millions more saw it unfold online.

    Mary Kay is a proud supporter of this initiative. All staff wore
    blue clothing to the Wink Mobile Party to honour the special
    occasion, and volunteers came out in droves. Tasty treats and
    fun games were available to those who made a donation. All
    funds raised went to the Look Good Feel Better® program.
    Plus, the Mary Kay Ash Charitable Foundation matched every
    individual donation of $5 or more made during the WINK
    campaign! Precious jewellery items benefitting the Mary Kay
    Ash Charitable Foundation were also sold. It was a fun-filled
    day and a fantastic time was had by all who attended!

          Here at Mary Kay Cosmetics Ltd., we call it ‘your why’. Whether it’s a flexible schedule, increased
       income potential or precious time with family, every ‘why’ is personal – but it’s the drive that can propel
       you to work your Mary Kay business with enthusiasm and passion.
          Once that passion is ignited, dreams can take flight and be fulfilled.
          Dreams are the very core, at the very heart of Mary Kay, so it only makes sense that the theme for the
       2017 Seminar year be “The Year of Your Dreams”.
          As we embark on this new Seminar year, we look to our dear Founder to remind us how she sparked
       dreams and empowered women fifty-three years ago. Mary Kay Ash shared her vision one woman at time.
       She built personal relationships that started by lending a listening ear in the homes of women who wanted
       more for themselves and their families.
          She created a business model that asked them to do three simple things: book appointments, sell products
       at the skin care party and offer the Mary Kay opportunity. These are the fundamental steps that create a
       foundation for selling success.
          And, as Mary Kay always said, “A house is indeed only as strong as the foundation on which it was built.”
          Yes, Mary Kay built this foundation for us – for you! But it is our role as generation changers to continue
       her legacy, to fulfil her mission… and yours, of course! And if there’s one thing I’m certain of, I know you
       can do it. You are the Mary Kay of today, of tomorrow, and of the next 50 years. You’re here because you
       know firsthand what a Mary Kay business can do to better your life and the lives of others.
          Think about it. By saying yes to the opportunity, you said yes to a positive mindset – one that helped you
       shape a bright future and design the life of your dreams. Just imagine the example you are setting!
          In addition, by building a business with the mantra of enriching women’s lives at its core, you’re shaping
       the way other women view their lives, their goals, their dreams… and that trickles down into their everyday
       lives. It’s a beautiful circle that lends power to goals and sparks fire to dreams.
          Remember, you are leaders of a movement: one that is dedicated to taking risks while ignoring naysayers,
       to getting out there and working to build a business, to knowing that with a positive outlook, no matter the
       obstacle, you will overcome.
          If there’s one thing I’ve learned over the years, it’s that a woman filled with belief – in herself, her
       abilities, and her dreams – is unstoppable!
          So I encourage you to be THAT woman. Believe in yourself, the power of your goals and the magic of
       your dreams. We owe it to Mary Kay to continue the mission she dedicated herself to, and a responsibility
       to continue to grow her dream Company. Together, you are destined to make incredible things happen.
