NOTE FROM OUR ADMINSTRATOR
Dear Holy Spirit Church Family,

Our Parish is undergoing some financial and structural evaluation/re-organization . Our initial discovery lead
us to recognize that our assigned priests are not celebrating enough Masses and the rotations are limited. Also,
our Sunday collection has decreased over the months which has affected our operational expenses.

Due to these reasons, starting the month of March, Fr. Robert Hodges will no longer be helping our Parish.
We absolutely love Fr. Robert’s spirit of service especially in his well-prepared homilies. We hope you will
understand the difficulty of our decision and continue to pray for Fr. Robert.

Below is Fr. Robert’s words..

Celebrating two Masses each Sunday with the Holy Spirit parish community from August 5th, 2018, to Febru-
ary 24th, 2019, has been an honor and a joy for me. It is with a truly grateful heart that I thank all of you, be-
ginning with Fr. Joseph Tran, for being instruments of God’s grace in making the past seven months such a
joyful experience for me. Please pray for me, and be assured of my prayers for you. As we pray for each oth-
er, let us always give thanks to God, recalling the beautiful words of St. Paul’s Letter to the Colossians 1:3-5:
We always give thanks to God,
the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,
                                              when we pray for you,
for we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus
and the love that you have for all the holy ones
because of the hope reserved for you in heaven.

Gratefully yours in God’s Love,
Rev. Robert S. Hodges, O.Praem.

Thank you Fr. Robert Hodges for all that you do for our Parish. We wish you nothing but the best and may
God bless you always!!!
                                                                                   Fr. Joseph Thuong Tran

STATIONS OF THE CROSS DURING LENT
Dear ministry leaders and participants,

As you know, we conduct a Stations of the Cross service every Friday
during Lent at 6:30pm in English. We have been doing this for many
years, and would like to try something different this year. We would like
to offer you and those in your ministry the opportunity to lead one or
more of those Friday evening services. The Friday dates are March 8,
15, 22 and 29, April 5 and 12.

Our needs are simple. We are looking for one, two or three people to
lead each service. Speaking into a microphone is involved. All materials
will be provided. If you would like to be creative and try something new
or different, let’s discuss it.

If you would like to lead a service or if you have questions, please send
Deacon Phil an email at pgoodman823@gmail.com. Feel free to forward
this email to someone you think may be interested in participating.
Thank you in advance. May God bless you and your ministries.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR 2018 PSA DONATIONS!
                            OUR 2019 PSA CAMPAIGN THEME
“We are ONE” Planting the Seed… Our PARISH GOALS for the 2019 Pastoral Services Appeal are
                      1. To have at least 1,300 participating families
                      2. To have $400,000 in pledges

This pledge amount includes our Diocesan PSA commitment of $148,000 to support outreach ministries,
clergy formation and support, Catholic education, and charitable activities. Donations received over our
diocesan obligation will be used for the expansion and renovation of Our Lady of Grace Pastoral Center.

It is our hope that we raise enough funds to move forward in setting a date for ground breaking in the
construction of the Pastoral Center. This weekend at all of the Masses PSA envelopes will be made
available for all parish families. The envelopes detail the various payment options and guidelines to help
determine what your gift will be. Please prayerfully discern and listen to your heart when making your
decision for your pledge as a family.

We invite you and your parish family to bring your filled out pledge envelope to Mass on our
commitment next weekend, February 23-24. Your continued support to PSA is a blessing and a work in
Planting the Seed… for future generations.
