LOCATION AND ACCESS
The town of Oraison is located in the Alpes de
Haute Provence, at the crossroads of the Luberon
and Gorges du Verdon.
Bordered by the Durance, the Asse and the Rancor
torrent, the city risses to 376 meters above sea
level and has 6018 inhabitants.
It is a place of relaxation, privileged, in a preserved natural framework of
2300 hectares of forests of white oaks and holm oaks, from where its name
"A city in the countryside".
Oraison is one kilometer from the motorway junction of La Brillanne, exit 19
of the A51 motorway, which provides a quick communication to the south
towards Aix-en-Provence and Marseille and north towards Gap and of
Sisteron.

The lakes Buissonnades are located south of the town of Oraison (5 km
towards Valensole, right before the bridge of the Asse).
