July 2021
A Word from Sally

Hello Everyone,
We have a very keen group of volunteers at the centre who do a wonderful
job of maintaining our lovely gardens. Pictured below are some of the hot pokers
that are growing, they have been a big draw card for local birds who have
enjoyed collecting the nectar. A big thankyou to our wonderful volunteers, the
centre would not be the same without you. If you are interested in volunteering
please contact us, at the centre and we can have a chat about the various
opportunities that are here.

We had planned to go to the Drayton Cemetery for a tombstone tour last
month, but inclement weather meant the event was cancelled, instead it will be
held on Tuesday the 6th of July. If you would like to come along, please register
beforehand either by ringing the centre on 46392755 or emailing Sally on
manager@eastcreek.com.au. Our walking group is very friendly and everyone is
invited to come along. For information on the walk go to this link
