 mixed-use business district outside the city
 centre. It will be served by 4 MRT lines by 2035.

NEW RAIL FINANCING FRAMEWORK,
 SINGAPORE
 Under the New framework the Land Transport Authority
 (LTA) will now own the rail operating assets and lead
 investments in capacity expansion, replacement and
 upgrading of assets. While the Operators (SBS, SMRT)
 focus on providing reliable rail services for commuters.
