Club Kokoda Gold Coast hinterland bushwalks
Guided bushwalks and nature-based The purpose of these walks is to give you an opportunity to connect with like-minded people
in a natural environment, whilst being mindful of the sacrifices made by our Diggers, specifically
recreation activities those on the Kokoda Track in 1942. Discover the benefits of this enjoyable form of exercise
with experienced trekkers on these beautiful bushwalks throughout the Gold Coast hinterland.
Anyone with a good level of fitness is welcome to participate. All walks start at 6am.
Explore our environment through a range of educational guided bushwalks
and recreational activities.

1 September 2019 Lower Bellbird Circuit, Lamington National Park
3 – 4 hour 12km circuit, medium difficulty.
Meeting at Binna Burra – lower carpark.
6 October 2019 Coomera Gorge Circuit, Lamington National Park
4 – 5 hour 17.6km circuit, medium to advanced difficulty.

3 November 2019 Purling Brook Falls to Apple Tree Park, Springbrook National Park
4 – 5 hour 14km return, medium to advanced difficulty.

Guided natural area bushwalks Birds of the bush photography walk
If you’re looking to learn more about the natural areas of the Gold Coast including native plants, Come and improve your bird identification and nature
animals and bush regeneration, then these walks would be ideal. The walks are guided by our photography skills with a pleasant walk guided by local
knowledgeable Natural Areas team. Further walks are updated throughout the year so please visit bird watcher and nature photographer Todd Burrows.

Koala conservation walk
Have you ever seen a koala in the wild? They are notoriously hard
to find. We’ll increase your chances on a special guided koala tour
through some of the Gold Coast’s amazing conservation parks.
Learn about koala food and shelter trees, how to spot evidence of
koalas, identifying koala disease and other threats, and how to get
involved in koala conservation on the Gold Coast. Suitable for all
