Workplaces are adapting to the ever-evolving Government guidelines, and
keeping your business operational is challenging. Identifying those actively
infected with COVID-19 helps to reduce the spread of the virus in the
workplace.

At Corazon Health we are now offering a COVID-19 Postal Testing Kit. The kit
enables employees to take a sample themselves and return it directly to the
laboratory by post.

Postal testing can support your assessment of those returning to the
workplace whether that’s from home or travel. We offer both a Digital and
Non-Digital service variations to suit differing workforce demographics.
The process uses the Royal Mail’s Priority postal system, to start we simply
need to know how many kits are required.
The Non-Digital kits are sent to a single business address by courier, ready to
be used on receipt with no additional set up required.
Relevant instructions and details of how each sample are processed are
provided to management, so that this information can be disseminated to kit
recipients.
Each kit requires a self-swab (running a swab around the inside of a mouth
and nasal passage to collect a sample).

After the swab is taken the sample goes into the prepaid envelope in the kit
and should be posted in the closest available priority post box (click here to
find one in your area). Remember to check the postal box for collection times
to ensure that the sample can be posted prior to the next collection time and
avoid delay.

The samples will usually arrive the next day at the laboratory and analysis can
take up to 72 hours depending on the time of arrival.
Once the laboratory has analysed the results, they will be in one of two categories;
        Negative
        Positive
In the event that a sample donor did not follow the instructions correctly a third
result type, failed / inconclusive, may be reported.
All results are reported electronically to management, with a requirement that
they then inform each donor of the results.
Support by telephone for donors with positive result outcomes, as per government
requirements for private testing, will be available at the request of the employee
at additional charge.
Please note that it is also possible to obtain misleading results, for example
testing at the point the person has been infected but has not started to shred the
virus.
