2 How to guide: Twitteraccount setup
1. Go to www.twitter.com
2. Click Sign Up
3. Enter your name, mobile number or email
and date of birth and click next
4. Next you have the option to customise your
experience, you can choose whether you
want to tick these and then click next
5. Now confirm your details and click next
6. Twitter will send you a verification code to
either your email or mobile, depending on
which you used to set up your account
7. Enter the verification code and click next
8. Now choose a password and click next
9. Choose a profile picture - this should be
your business logo
10. Add a bio - this should be a brief description
about your company - you can use the same
across all your platforms
11. Work your way through the next few
preference settings, you can always come
back to these later
12. Now go to your profile and click ‘set up
profile’ - on here you can upload a banner.
Keep this on-brand, use a similar one to your
other platforms, but ensure the size matches
