       • Consider using an automation tool to do
this for you, such as Agorapulse - the
platform makes it easy to create and
previous your post before you post it
       • However be sure to post content that
differs slightly - Twitter penalises brands
that repeat identical posts over multiple
            hours or days
TIP #2 Choose your content wisely
       • Whilst many brands have received high
            engagement from controversial content,
            86% of consumers want honesty
            from brands
       • Consider the type of content you want
            to produce
       • Add value with your content - always
keep your audience in mind and create
content that will be of interest to them
If you cannot fit this in the 280 character limit,
consider using images or infographics to share
your message TIP #4 Use video

TIP #5 Use photos, GIFs and polls
    • Using photos and GIFs with your tweets
is a great way to connect with followers.
Twitter has a built-in GIF keyboard.
Search a keyword and choose a clip that
          best suits your tweet
    • One fun way to involve your followers
is to create a poll. Craft your question
and select the responses. Then click the
Compose box at the top of your Home
timeline. Next, click the Add Poll icon
that looks like a horizontal graph. Insert
your question into the main compose
box. Then enter your first poll option into
Choice 1 and your second option into
Choice 2. You can list up to four options
in your poll, and each option should be
25 characters or less. The poll stays
live for 24 hours by default, but you can
shorten that timeframe if you prefer
TIP #6 Share media mentions
    • If your business is mentioned in the
media or in a blog post, share the article,
video, URL or image on Twitter
    • This will make your business appear
          more legitimate to anyone checking
          out your profile

       • Between 8–10 AM and 6–9 PM (in
