As part of the ACA qualification, students must work through professional skills
goals set by ICAEW. These goals cover ‘seven ladders’ and students are required
to demonstrate competence in these ladders, across a range of personal and
professional skills.
We facilitate these goals through PD sessions, which give students the chance to discuss, practise and
reflect on their development through tightly co-ordinated activities. The sessions will also help students to
learn new skills that can be applied in the workplace as they complete their goals.
There are ten interactive PD sessions (Sessions A – J) and these are usually attended by students over a
period of two years and completed prior to the students sitting the ACA Case study exam.
