About Us ABOUT DOMINO’S PIZZA Domino’s Pizza, Inc. is a pizza restaurant chain founded in Ypsilanti, Michigan, USA in 1960. Domino’s has operated as a pizza delivery franchise since 1967, and is currently the largest pizza restaurant chain in the world with more than 17,600 locations in more than 90 markets globally. Now headquartered in nearby Ann Arbor, Michigan, the company now boasts a 33,000 square foot research and development hub at the Domino’s Farms corporate campus, dedicated to dreaming up the next big thing in pizza technology. Led by CEO Ritch Allison since 2018, Domino’s pizza has been an early technology adopter, incorporating advanced artificial intelligence and machine learning across their organization to constantly improve the customer experience from order to table. From early testing for drone and autonomous robot delivery to their use of machine learning and advanced artificial intelligence, Domino’s remains committed to keeping their spot as the world’s biggest pizza brand. Domino’s is committed to supporting initiatives in communities wherever Domino’s has a presence, including support for local food banks and contributing to school lunches, fundraising for local charitable causes, as well as involvement in infrastructure projects. In June 2018, Domino’s began the Paving for Pizza initiative, a project to begin repairing potholes in America so that pizzas were more likely to make it to their destinations safely.

LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY

One of Justin Little’s fondest childhood memories is
of playing house with his brothers and sisters in their
ramshackle farmhouse on the outskirts of Wichita,
Kansas. “I was always the cook, and I was usually
serving pizza.” Looking back at those memories, it would
be easy to say that Justin’s life path was preordained.
As the middle child of 5, Justin and the rest of the Little
kids were as ambitious as they were energetic, and
entrepreneurial from the get-go. “Our mother had a side-
gig as a seamstress when we were kids, always busying
herself with those tasks when not parenting us - which
was all the time - so we probably picked it up from her.”
Justin remarks that he had several successful businesses
as a child, including the tried and true lemonade stand.
“I sold lemonade to the local farm kids and made less
than fifty dollars that summer, but I thought I was going
to be the next Warren Buffet. ”
Justin’s family moved into the city in his first year of
high school, and Justin immediately saw opportunity
all around him. The day he turned legal age, Justin got
his first paid job as a team member at Wichita’s then
only Domino’s location. He began making waves in the
company almost immediately with clever advertising
ideas that aimed some jabs at Pizza Hut (a home-grown
favorite pizza chain in Wichita). Justin Little, now serving as regional director, enjoys a
quiet moment at a recent corporate retreat.
Fast-forward 15 years of climbing the corporate ladder
and Justin Little proudly holds the title of regional director,
overseeing the operations of more than 50 franchise
locations in Kansas.
“Most people will say they never dreamed that the
success they have would one day come, “ says Justin,
from his lavish converted farmhouse “but I always knew I
was going to be known as the pizza guy.”

Ann Arbor, MI, April 18, 2021 /CNW/ Domino’s and commercial drone partner Flirtey announced today that they are launching pizza delivery via drone for the majority of California markets. Starting this month, Californian customers who place an order on dominos.com or through the Dominos mobile app will have the ability to select drone as a delivery option. Launch cities include Los Angeles and San Francisco and service will expand to the rest of California by the end of the calendar year. “Flirtey’s mission is to save lives and improve lifestyles by making delivery instant for everyone.” Flirtey CEO Matt Sweeny hopes the success of drone delivery in California will open the door for nationwide expansion in the coming years. This collaboration between Domino’s and Flirtey introduces a brand-new delivery method for the American market. First successfully tested in New Zealand in 2016, drone delivery presents benefits for the customer as well as for Domino’s. Domino’s can now deliver more pizzas without adding to the traffic congestion, in a greener option than motorized vehicles. Many customers will receive their pizza faster than through traditional delivery, and the territory for delivery has instantly expanded cover to more than double the previous area, allowing Domino’s to reach more customers than ever before.
