It shall be my constant endeavour to realize the ideals of the Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan and the basic principles of our ageless culture and to conform to the way of life prescribed by it.
ADMISSION
1. The school demands high standards in ideals and attainments.
2. The academic year begins in April and ends in March.
3. No admission is confirmed unless Leaving Certificate from the
last recognized school is produced. In the case of students
coming from school outside Gujarat State, School Leaving
Certificate and Report Card must be countersigned by the
Regional Office of CBSE.
4. On submitting the admission form the students are required to
take interaction after 2 days. Admission will be confirmed based
on the performance in the interaction.
5. The Principal reserves the right to refuse an application for
admission in the event of valid reasons.
WITHDRAWALS
1. A calendar months’ notice should be given in writing by the
parent/guardian in person before the withdrawal of the pupil
or else the fee for one month will be charged.
2. No Leaving Certificate will be issued unless all the fees due to
the school are paid. A fee of Rs. 50/- will be charged for the
duplicate copy of the Leaving Certificate. And the parent is
supposed to submit an Affidavit duly signed by the Second
Class Magistrate/ Notary Public for the same.
FEES
1. All fees are payable before the 10th of every month. Late fees of
Rs. 10/- per day will be collected after 10th of every month.
2. Tuition fees for the months of April & May and October &
November and the Term fees will be collected in the month of
April and October respectively.
3. Students whose fees are in arrears will not be eligible for the
examinations, and in consequence, report card will not be
issued.
4. No refund of fees will be made for any reason whatsoever.
5. Fees once paid with the application form will not be refunded in
any case.
6. A student whose name is on the school roll even for a single
day of the month will have to pay fees for the entire month.
(Tuition & term fees)CODE OF CONDUCT FOR STUDENTS
Every student of Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan must endeavour:
1. To be smart and neatly dressed.
2. To converse only in English while he/she is in the school premises.
3. To be polite and well-mannered.
4. To respect parents, teachers and elders and greet them once a day.
5. To stand quietly when a teacher enters the classroom and sits down only
when told to do so.
6. Never to tell a lie, cheat or use unfair means at the examination or on the
playground.
7. Never to loiter aimlessly along corridors, run about, shout or whistle.
8. To take proper care of books, note-books and other school things.
9. The school belongs to each one of us. Do not damage any property and avoid
writing on walls or carving out names on desks / benches / tables / chairs /
trees.
10. To know the magic in the words “Please” and “Thank you” and use them
frequently on all appropriate occasions.
11. To accept defeat with a smile like a true sportsman.
12. To regard the school as his/her second home and do everything possible to
keep the classroom and the school premises neat and pleasing to the eye.
13. Never to indulge in deliberate destruction of school property and to report
any such instance he/she may come across to the teachers.
14. To treat his/her schoolmates as his/her own brothers and sisters and help
younger ones whenever possible.
15. To be ready to co-operate in any endeavour to promote the wellbeing of the
school and schoolmates.
16. Never to bully the weak or make fun of the old, the poor or the handicapped.
17. To avoid vulgarity in talk and behaviour, no matter what the provocation.
18. To strive to attain excellence in whatever activity he/she participates.
19. To make pursuit of truth and knowledge in his/her motto.
20. Respect the belongings of other students. Do not damage their books or
other belongings.
21. Have the courage to speak the truth at all times. Do not give up in the face of
failure. Try again and again.
22. To be regular in attending classes. It is absolutely essential that students
must maintain at least eighty five percent of attendance. Falling short with
regard to attendance, will subject the students’ being not eligible to write the
Annual Exam.23. In case of continuous absence of more than 7 days without information to
the school authorities, the name of such student will be struck off the roll.
24. Irregular attendance without leave application, insubordination to teachers
or Principal or any kind of misbehavior in or outside the school are sufficient
reasons for the dismissal of a student.
25. Students of XI, XII (Science Stream) are hereby advised to wear white apron
and plain glasses during practical in Chemistry Lab. Students should not
enter the labs without permission of subject teacher or Lab coordinator,
otherwise the student will be responsible for any loss, damage or accident in
the lab.
26. Students in XII Std. will have to complete their Physics, Chemistry, Biology
practicals during regular school days only. After that no practicals will be
allowed.
27. As per CBSE norms, students are not permitted to bring electronic
gadgets such as mobiles, iPod, camera etc. to the school premises and if
these are found with the students, they will be confiscated by the
school authorities and would not be returned. Parents are requested to
co-operate to ensure that students refrain from carrying these to the
school.SCHOOL LIBRARY RULES
1. The school library is open to all bonafide students of the school.
Please ensure to create and maintain the environment conducive for
reading and learning. A conscientious use of the library with a sense
of responsibility is highly solicited.
2. Timings:
The library facility can be used by students and teachers during
the school hours.
3. Issue Section:
All the books are issued for 7 days.
For Classes IV to XII students, general books can be issued for
7 days.
Library books will be issued in the library period only to Classes
IV to XII.
Every class will get one period in a week.
The library book has a due date slip which shows the date on
which it should be returned.
Students have to return the book on or before the return date
during school hours.
Fine of Rs. 1/- per day will be charged for first 15 days delay in
submission of the book, and after that Rs. 5/- will be charged
per day.
4. About lost books:
o In case the book is lost, immediately the matter should be
reported to the Librarian and his instructions should be followed
to cover the loss.
o If the book is lost or damaged, the borrower will be asked to
replace with a new copy of the same title and latest edition.
o If not possible to replace the book, the borrower will have to pay
1.5 times the cost of the book as ascertained from the register.
o Any damage, mutilation or defacing of the book shall be dealt
with as per school library rules.
5. About reading room:
Students must maintain absolute silence in the library.
Personal books, files, bags, mobile phone etc. is not allowed in
Library. Any such material possessed by student will be
confiscated.
Books must be kept clean and used carefully. Borrowers must
not interchange the book among themselves. A book can be
recalled at any time.
The borrower is responsible for the books issued in his/her
name.
Chairs must be arranged without making noise.
Any student found misusing reading room from escaping
subject period will have to face the consequences.
6. Clearance:
All 'Library Dues' should be clear before getting 'Annual Exam

9. Parents can come on every month 2nd Saturday to meet the class teacher and
