General Information

This application form is open to all food vendors, however City of Bunbury
and South West based food vendors will be considered in the first instance. If
positions are still available after this, all other vendors will then be considered.
The application form is for food vendors who wish to apply to trade at the 2021 Skyfest
event. The event will be held on Australia Day, Tuesday 26 January, from 4pm - 9pm, at the
Koombana Foreshore.
Stall must remain open (and attended) from
  • 4pm - 9pm
Application Assessment
All applications will be assessed against the following:
  • All requested information has been provided
  • Appearance of the van or stall
  • Health and/or dietary options in the menu
  • Compostable/recyclable packaging used
Waste Wise Guidelines
The City of Bunbury has been working towards becoming more waste wise and is committed
to the development of sustainable events.
All stallholders attending Skyfest must only use environmentally friendly products and
packaging when conducting their business.
Below is a list of which items are not permitted, and acceptable alternatives.
Unacceptable Items
  • Polystyrene
  • Plastic cups
  • Plastic straws
  • Plastic takeaway containers, plates or food trays
  • Sugar or sauce single packets
  • Plastic Cutlery
  • Plastic bags
  • Standard coffee cups and lids
  • Balloons
Approved Alternatives
  • Cardboard or compostable packaging
  • Paper cups
  • Paper straws
  • Cardboard or compostable packaging
  • Bulk dispensers (for sugar and sauce)
  • Compostable starch wood products

   • Compostable bio-plastic
Also look out for the Australian Standards AS4736 and AS5810 for compostable
items or the compostable logo

Waste Wise Agreement

compostable
☐ I agree to remove all rubbish, waste water and oils, and leave the area clean at the
conclusion of trading
☐ I agree to flatten and bundle cardboard boxes and place in the recycling bins provided
by the City
☐ I agree not to provide plastic straws (paper/compostable straws are acceptable)

☐ I agree not to use polystyrene/foam packaging
☐ I understand that my van/stall may be subject to an inspection by a City of Bunbury
Waste Officer, and if my stall does not comply witht he above standards I may not be
eligible to apply for future City of Bunbury events.
