“Universities value TAFE NSW students because
of the very solid training that they’ve had. It’s
often much easier for them to integrate into
university because they’ve had time and a
supportive environment to get used to the
educational system and to settle into Australia.”

“TAFE NSW is the right choice for me. There is
more 1-on-1 or 1-to-a-group interaction between
the lecturers and the students. TAFE also offers
hands-on experiences for the students – after
a period of study we are sent out for different
experiences in different workplaces. I feel that
I have more confidence and I am able to be
more independent.”
