Dear Ladies and Gentlemen,
Dear Karatekas,
In my property as President of IBF-International I would
like to welcome all Budo athletes, the country presidents,
the officials, the guests of honour and also every interested
person and spectator to the
IBF-WORLD-OPEN-CHAMPIONSHIP 2020
for Hand-to-Hand-Fight, Full-Contact, All-Style-Karate and Semi-Contact in the
wunderful city of Kiev.
The IBF-International is very happy and honoured to host this championship in the
year 2020 in Kiev from 1st till 5th October. I am sure that all the responsible persons
under the leadership of Mr. President Alexandr Gartvich will contribute to make this
World Championship a successful event.
It is once again a great pleasure to see the precision and technical skill with which
the IBF-UA is holding this event. I would like to express my great respect and thanks
to all the responsible people for this recurring great achievement.
I wish this event a good course, and I look forward to fair competitions and wish all
Karatekas lots of success.

3. Competition Format
• IBF-Full-Semi-Contac-Rules competition format.
• Each Semi-Contact bout will consist of one (1) round of two (2) minutes, a final
round of three (3) minutes.
• Each fight Full-Contac will consist of one (1) round of three (3) minutes, the final
round of five (5) minutes.
• There will be sowing to be determined by the Sowing Commission.
• The official draw will be held by Swiss Timing through an electronic random draw
for all athletes except those who are seeded.
• Medals will be distributed in each section among 3 athletes of each weight
category (1 gold, 1 silver, 1 bronze).
• The event will be attended by world-class international technical officials (IBF), as
well as category A and B referees, each of whom will be appointed by the IBF-
INTERNATIONAL Technical Commission.

8.Visa& entry requirements
The Ukrainian Federation of hand-to-hand combat and the organizing committee of
the 2020 World Cup will assist the organizing country for all participants in the team
delegation, provided that the completed applications are submitted by August 31th,
2020.
All those countries that requires visa have send a list of all participants before
August 31th, 2020 send to frb@frb.org.ua The list must contain name, first name,
date of birth and passport number. After receipt we will send an official invitation
very soon.
Ukraine applies different visa policies depending on your nationality. Please find
below the various categories of passport holders. This data is provided for
informational purposes only and is subject to change. In case of doubt, we advise
you to consult the nearest embassy or to request confirmation from the organizer

9.Transportation
9.1 International transport
The airport of arrival and departure is Boryspil International Airport and Zhuliany
International Airport. Upon arrival at the airport, please pay attention to the 2020
World Cup Welcome Desk. Volunteers will help you get to your hotel.
All information on business trips related to team delegation must be entered into the
IBF-INTERNATIONALE database during registration and additionally sent to the

9.2. Local transportation
Local transport will be provided by the Organizer.

10.Accommodation 10.1 Hotel Team Team delegations will have the opportunity to stay at the RAMADA ENCORE HOTEL - located 15 km (20 minutes by bus) from the competition venue. All participants of the World Championship stay at the hotel Ramada Encore Kyiv. Address: 103, Stolychne Shose 03131, Kyiv, Ukraine info@encorekiev.com Important: The amount for a double room incl. Breakfast is for all participants of the World Open Championship € 80,00 per night. Please notice for the reservation „Participant World Open Championship 2020“ to receive this price.

12. Medical Care Ukraine side will provide first aid during the entire period of the championship to any participant who suffers from sports injuries received during the championship. 13. Farewell Dinner Team delegations are also invited to attend the Farewell dinner that will take place after the end of the competition. 14. Weather The weather in Kyiv in October is between 6 to 14C. Please ensure to bring weather-appropriate clothing. 15.The Host City Intro to the city Kiev is the capital and largest city of Ukraine. Located on the Dnieper River. The city has 4 million people. Kiev attracts tourists from all over the world with its famous attractions, unique monuments and a pleasant atmosphere. This ancient city is considered the greenest among all European capitals. The main street of Kiev is Khreshchatyk. This place is associated with many significant events in the history of Ukraine. On any day, especially on weekends and holidays, mass festivities and various events take place on Khreshchatyk. The central square in Kiev is Independence Square (in Ukrainian: Maidan Nezalezhnostі). This main square of Ukraine, popularly called "Maidan" is connected with Khreshchatyk. Near the square, and under it there are three lines of a fairly large shopping center Globus. City guests can visit the famous shrine of Kiev - Pechersk Lavra. This historical and cultural reserve was founded under Prince Yaroslav the Wise in 1051. In the caves of the Kiev Pechersk Lavra relics of saints are still stored. In the monastery you can drink holy water from underground sources and buy church souvenirs. Sophia Cathedral is the most important tourist attraction in Kiev. It attracts the attention of especially foreign tourists. Next to this ancient building are great photos. Inside the temple you will see ancient church murals and the legendary mosaic of smalt - Oranta. The aura in the Kiev Hagia Sophia is unique and unforgettable.
Shops and Shopping Fans of shopping will find a huge number of shops and modern shopping centers in Kiev. Closer to the central part of the city are expensive branded boutiques, but there is no shortage of ordinary inexpensive stores scattered all over Kiev. On Gorky (Antonovich) street is located one of the most beautiful shopping and entertainment centers of the city of Kiev - “Ocean Plaza”, which is built in accordance with all European standards. This Shopping Mall is popular with all Kievans, tourists and guests of the capital of Ukraine. Ocean Plaza has a wide range of products and entertainment. Ukrainian food Traditional dishes of Ukrainian cuisine are red borsch and various dumplings. Puzata Hata is the best budget restaurant with national Ukrainian cuisine in Kiev. In this network of establishments, you can cheaply eat real Ukrainian borsch with donuts, a Kiev patty and other Ukrainian national food in a traditional interior. This fast food restaurant is also called "Ukrainian McDonalds", only the products used are fresh and natural.
Transport In Kiev, there are such types of public transport: metro, buses, trams, trolleybuses, minibuses and a city electric train. The fare in the Kiev metro is one of the cheapest in the world and at the moment the cost of a one-time trip is 8 UAH. Taxi prices in Kiev depend on which taxi service you will use. There are Kiev taxi companies with low tariffs, their fleet consists mainly of economy cars. At the same time, many carriers offer business-class cars and various additional services for a fee. Those wishing to rent a car will appreciate the presence in Kiev of branches of international car rental companies. Currency exchange Currency exchange is carried out at any bank or at special exchange points (kiosks), which are located in a fairly large amount in the city of Kiev. Foreign currency is exchanged for Ukrainian hryvnia without a commission. Try not to change money with private individuals who can offer a better rate, as fraudsters are often found among them.

Preliminary fights: 1 round - 3 minutes (without stopping time to evaluate technical
actions);
Final fights: 1 round - 5 minutes (without stopping time to evaluate technical
actions).

2. Winning on points (Referee decision).

1 - points for: Punch in the head, punch to the body, kick to the body, any throw.
Punches and kicks can be applied in the rack.
In the prone position, strokes are prohibited. Pain techniques, asphyxiation
techniques are allowed.
