        Pesticides are poisonous and dangerous!
        Do you really need them?
Follow these safe, chemical-free integrated pest management (IPM) steps at home:
        1. Identify the kinds of pests you have. Sticky traps work well.
        2. Once you know the pest, take steps to eliminate sources of food, water and
shelter that they need to survive. Follow these IPM tips at home:
           a. Keep living areas clean and uncluttered.
           b. Keep food in tightly sealed containers.
           c. Keep trash in a closed container.
           d. Fix plumbing and water leaks.
           e. Seal all entry points, such as gaps and holes in walls and other surfaces using
caulk, steel wool or other pest-proof materials.
        3. Use traps and baits, or contact Lancaster County Extension at 402-441-7180 for
