Dear Professional Colleague,
They say that only poets, writers and artists have the capability of knowing that each facet of the nature
COMMUNICATION
surrounding us is worthy of being inked on paper in words or in art; and yet if you ask me, I would say that
a true professional would know that there is so much to learn, gain and grow from every aspect of life
FROM
surrounding us.
It is with this thought that the above shloka seems aptly perfect to invite all of you in the first
PRESIDENT
congregation of the year for our learned members of the practising fraternity. While the year gone by
might have witnessed halts, slowdowns and lockdowns in various arenas of activity; one thing that could
never be impeded was the process of learning amidst any and every situation of crisis.
In an attempt to keep the fire of knowledge alighted in each one of us, the entire Team of the Institute of
Company Secretaries of India has been on its toes to bring knowledge and learning at your doorstep.
Keeping the legacy alive and yet finding a way to connect in the ongoing times, the Institute is rolling the
ball for the 21st National Conference of Practising Company Secretaries.
Themed at Achieving Excellence through Digital Transformation, the Conference for the year 2020 shall
be held on the 15th and 16th of January, 2021at Inder Residency, Udaipur (Rajasthan).
Given the altering dynamics of the Indian as well as global economy, the corporate, regulatory and
national scenario requires a 360 degree overhaul in the approach of the professionals towards their roles
and responsibilities towards each set of stakeholders.
The Conference which would be held in both physical and virtual mode, through its multifarious
sessions, intends to ponder over each such aspect in the light of the roles expected of the Practising
Professionals. I would like to urge all of you to register for the conference in large numbers rendering it a

Accommodation
The Institute has finalized packages with Inder Residency, Udaipur on concessional basis.
Accommodation will be on 'first come first served basis'. Details about accommodation arrangements
shall be shared through email with registered delegates.

04Important Instructions:
1. On the spot registration will start from 10:00 am on
15th January, 2021 and the Conference will conclude
on 16th January, 2021 by 03.30 pm.
2. Limited rooms are available at Inder Residensy, Udaipur
Resort on first come first serve basis.
3. All payments related to the stay of delegate are required
to be settled by the delegate directly with Inder
Residensy, Udaipur as per their Terms & Conditions.
4. All delegates may kindly note that rooms shall be
booked on full room basis. If any delegate wants to
share his room with any other delegate, in such case
he/she is advised to decide his/her room partner in
advance and should give details of his/her partner (i.e.
accompanying guest) in the booking form itself.
5. Payment should be settled by anyone of them as
mutually agreed.
6. The Hotel has been requested to allow delegates for early
check-in, but this facility is subject to availability of
rooms at that point of time.
7. Any extra stay will be charged separately, subject to
availability of rooms and receipt of reservation charges
in advance.
