Athletic and event center
The Edward Hospital Athletic & Event Center is
an indoor athletic complex featuring over 76,000
square feet of turf fields and hard courts.
FACILITY INFORMATION
The facility includes an indoor soccer field, 2 IHSA regulation

The Edward Hospital Athletic and Event Center continues to
exceed expectations by drawing thousands to our area. Located
along the Route 53 corridor, this complex has drawn regional

Components of Fitness
To improve your overall fitness, it is important to have a balance of the five components of fitness.

1 Cardio-Respiratory Endurance The ability to do moderately strenuous activity over a period of time. It reflects how well your heart
and lungs work together to supply oxygen to your body during exertion and exercise.

2 Muscular Strength The ability to exert maximum force, one time. For example, lifting the heaviest weight you can manage one time.

3 Muscular Endurance The ability of a muscle or muscle group to repeat a movement or to hold a position for a period of time.
