WINTER RECREATION GUIDE - STAY CONNECTED! - Downers Grove Park District
WINTER RECREATION UPDATE
The Downers Grove Park District is working hard to navigate the evolving guidelines and safety recommendations to
protect the community from the spread of COVID-19. The District remains fiscally responsible, flexible and responsive to
the needs of the community as we continue to offer fun, safe recreation-based opportunities in the parks and facilities.
Please note, programs and information featured in the Winter Recreation Guide is subject to change due to
state guidelines. For ongoing updates and information about available amenities, programs offered and safety
procedures, please visit dgparks.org/news/together-again.

PARK IMPROVEMENT PROJECTS
Due to the financial impact of COVID-19 and in an effort to remain fiscally responsible during this challenging time,
several capital improvement projects have been placed on hold until further notice. This includes the
McCollum Park project, which was to feature a new sprayground, plaza, pickleball/tennis courts and a widened
walking path. However, there are a few projects that have moved forward in 2020:
