MESSAGE FROM THE FIRE CHIEF
Now that our clocks have been moved forward for Daylight
Savings, the batteries in our smoke detectors need to be changed
on Easter. It’s also time to start thinking about some warmer
weather safety tips. As we see the days beginning to get longer,
we all tend to spend more time outside in the fresh air. Please
keep these safety tips in mind:

Outside and Around the Yard
• Make sure your address numbers are up and visible from
  the street
• Use eye and ear protection while operating machinery.
• Keep children and pets at a safe distance while operating
  outdoor equipment.
• Add fuel before starting gas powered engines, not when
  they are running or hot.
• Fuel should be stored in approved containers, away from
ignition source. An outdoor shed is the ideal location for TREASURER’S OFFICE
