Wedding Perks
While the wedding couple finalizes their guest list, they can hold up to 40 seats for 90
days or up to 60 days prior to departure with a deposit of only $300 for the wedding
couple at time of booking. Not combinable with the attrition policy or rooms on request.
Wedding planning services
Once you have booked your client’s travel, our dedicated team of destination wedding
consultants can help plan and coordinate all the wedding details directly with the
hotel and wedding vendors. Your clients save 10% on our Diamond, Platinum and
Platinum Plus services starting at $499 + HST and you earn commission! See pages
8-11 for full details.
Wedding attire care
We recommend that wedding couples bring their wedding day attire onto the plane as part
of their carry-on luggage. Sunwing planes offer special dedicated overhead compartments
on every flight that are reserved exclusively for wedding dresses and wedding suits.
Wedding couples will receive pre-boarding from all Canadian gateways to make sure that
they receive the special treatment they deserve.
Wedding photographers
Destination wedding photographers travelling with professional photography
equipment may utilize their free second checked bag allowance (see page 18) towards
the carry-on allowance for their photography equipment.
Please confirm with your Groups Sales Representative at least 7 days prior to departure so we may assign the
equipment to the passenger name in the booking.

PERKS FOR THE WEDDING COUPLE
To qualify for these special Group Plus wedding perks, a group booking with a
minimum of 10 adults must be made before December 14, 2021 for travel from
June 1, 2022 or before July 19, 2022 for travel from November 1, 2022.
$500 anniversary travel credit
With a minimum of 10 rooms booked, wedding couples will receive a credit to use
towards their anniversary celebration. The $500 travel credit is non-transferable,
non-refundable and holds no cash value. The $500 voucher will be issued once final
payment for the group has been received and is valid for travel for 14 months from the
original travel date.
Complimentary access to Plaza Premium Lounges
Plaza Premium Lounges are available at Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton and Winnipeg
airports only. A Sunwing-issued voucher is required to gain entrance. Lounges may
have restricted hours of operation.
WEDDING PERKS. $100 per couple pre-booked excursion credit
The excursion must be booked with Sunwing at least 14 days in advance of travel.
This offer does not apply to excursions arranged at the resort and applies to the
wedding couple only. Guests can take advantage of group discounts and other
value-added excursion perks for groups. Travel agents can earn commission and STAR
Points on excursions. See page 20 for more information about Sunwing Experiences
excursions.

reception locations.
• We’ll schedule an initial call to review the details
of their wedding vision and then communicate
this with the hotel’s on-site wedding coordinator
and other vendors.
• We’ll provide a wedding planning budget
spreadsheet, which is a great tool for couples
to completely organize the wedding planning
