I was in the Army and got medically discharged.
When I left, I went back to college for a year and
during that time I decided what I wanted to do.
The course was very insightful. I was a late
starter and didn’t have much experience. I was a
bit scared not knowing anything but I got a lot of
support and help which I’m really grateful for.

structural design, how products are put
together, project management, and team

to reverse engineer parts into Computer
Aided Design (CAD) software.

available, and while I was studying, I felt that
I had a lot of people to turn to. I have dyslexia
and the staff were helpful in catering to
this. There was always a free computer to
use when I visited the library, which was
well-stocked. It’s a bonus that the campus
is so close to the Royal Aeronautical Society
library, which is really useful for research.
One of the highlights of my degree was
writing my dissertation. I was given a lot of

Graphic Design. I studied Graphics through
college and later carried on to the degree.
My lecturers were more than just teachers,
they helped me through some significant
events during my time and made sure I stayed
on the right path. They helped to sculpt
my skillset to the various routes within the
creative industry, which enabled me to see
that my career was filled with limitless options
and that I had only just begun my adventure.
