RALLY DAY DANCE THEMES
What Is the Rally Day Dance?
During each of our four-week sessions, a dinner and dance is scheduled for current
(school year 2018-2019) 7th, 8th and 9th grade boys and girls. These campers get to come together
for a themed dance while the Camp Lincoln Leadership Training (LT) Level 1 Participants DJ
the night away.
1st Session – Thursday, June 27th at Camp Lake Hubert

That is right Lincoln and Hubert Campers! It is once again time for you to find those bold,
bright neon-colored clothes of yours (or of your parents) and bring them with you to camp
this summer. Let’s not just limit this to clothing… as we feel that the more glow-in-the-dark/
neon accessories, the better. We truly wanna see which camp can rock their Glow Gear the
best. Hey…there is even talk of a Glow Stick Dance Off between some of the counselors and
camp directors…Say what? It is definitely time to light up the night as you shine bright for this
1st Session Dance. Be ready to see the room glow as we break it down on the dining room flo…

Alright sports fans! This Rally Day Dance will allow you to represent your favorite sport, school,
college or professional sports team. We either wanna know what sport consumes most of
your free time or what sports team you ride or die with when you are not at Lincoln or Hubert.
Those that truly wanna show they know what is up when it comes to being SPORTY will bring
whatever essentials are needed for them to pull off this wacky dance theme which promises
to be FIRE! Think club or school team uniforms/equipment, hats, headbands, jerseys, shorts,
wristbands, golf clubs, tennis racquets, etc. that support your team. You can never have too
much gear as we really want to see who or what you are repping while you dance to the latest
stadium anthems and Top 40 tunes. Goooooo Team!

that go above and beyond to talk to their friends and
neighbors about coming to camp. All you have to do is
fill out the Booster Club Form located on our website.
Just by submitting the name of a friend, family member,
or neighbor to the Booster Club, you will automatically

What is happening to Camp Lake Hubert’s Jr. Lodge?
Jr. Lodge will become the headquarters for a bunch of new programs. This
summer you can come to Jr. Lodge for basic culinary arts, podcasting, creative
writing, or photography. Martial arts, gymnastics, and dance will still call Jr. Lodge
their home. However, our expanded fitness program will move to a soon to be
disclosed location.

more creative twists to make Color Wars Part One 2019 a day you will

determination, energy and passion in our campers and staff. All will
heed the call of their Color Wars Team morning, noon and night.

This age-old camp tradition where the RED TEAM competes against
the BLUE TEAM is one of the most anticipated days of each session.
In 2018, the RED TEAM was victorious during both sessions. Will the
BLUE TEAM regroup and chill out the RED TEAM this summer? We
will soon see. We can tell you this for sure…. The bar will be raised yet
again for Summer 2019’s installment of Color Wars Part Two with the
addition of new campers, new events, more fun, and a new champion.

TO make your fortune Teller, Please:
• Cut along the outside square
• Printed side up, fold the square in half horizontally and then vertically to make a crease
• Turn the square over and fold each corner over, meeting in the middle
• Leave the square folded and flip over. Now fold the corners into the center
• Fold the entire square in half and poke your thumbs and forefingers in under the flaps

• Bring your fingers together so the Fortune Teller forms a peak

• Pick a word on the outside of your fortune teller
• Spell the word and move your fingers to open the fortune teller for every letter
