We recommend the following advertising media for the respective
end device:
• For desktop:
Billboard (800x250 or 970x250; max 200 KB), Halfpage Ad
(300x600; max 200 KB)
• For mobile:
MCA 2:1 (320x150; max. 80 KB) AND/OR
Medium Rectangle (300x250; max 200 KB) in the article. When
MCA and Medium Rectangle are delivered, only one advertising
media slot is used and only one of the two formats is delivered
alternately.

Delivery of advertisment material
Delivery of the basic media advertising material or redirects has to take place at least 3 working days and for special advertising forms at
least 5 working days before the campaign starts.

The delivery takes place exclusively to the following e-mail adress bcn.campaigning@burda.com
Desired details in the e-mail:
· name of the customer
· name of the campaign
· booking period
· booked website and placement
· advertisement formats
· contact person for inquiries
Please send 3rd party redirects as a separate file in the attachment (text or Excel file). All redirects must be SSL-capable.
Third-party tracking and view-time measurements are permitted but must also be SSL-capable. Only image tracking pixels are allowed,
no JS pixels.
FILE FORMATS
· HTML5 advertising material can only be delivered as a redirect! Fallbacks as JPG, GIF or PNG files are also required.

· All MEW advertising materials can be delivered in double resolution for an improved display on retina displays. Example:
A Medium Rectangle 600x500 is displayed in the delivery on 300x250 (note the weight limits of the advertising material!).

HTML5
BCN only accepts HTML5 advertising material as redirect. The physical delivery is currently excluded.
The file weight for HTML5 advertising media must not exceed 200 KB, neither for standard nor for special advertising formats. BCN does not recommend
using an HTML5 converter. The creative agency has to test the advertising material on all common browsers. The creator of the advertising material is
responsible for browser compatibility.
BCN asks for attention of the BVDW and IAB guidelines on delivery of HTML5 advertising material:

BCN only checks the browser compatibility on a random basis.
Redirects as script tags are allowed. With script tags, there is a greater risk of collisions with the page than with iFrame tags. This is
particularly the case of
improper or negligent implementation of HTML5 advertising material codes. Through technical measures such as namespaces, prefixes or
encapsulation by iFrame collisions are avoidable. There BCN reserves the right to insist on the delivery of redirects as iFrame tags in
individual cases.
Each image may be max 800KB heavy. For each image a link URL is required.
