PAGE 2 LOCATION The Matador Motel is located right in the heart of Sale on the corner of the Princes Highway and Raymond Street. We are a large, 54-room motel and function centre with welcoming and friendly staff ready to make your time in Gippsland a comfortable and memorable occasion. Our Function Room is suitable for all types of events ranging from conferences to sit-down dinners. We would love to welcome you for your next event, and have a range of packages to suit all budgets and requirements.
PAGE 3 FUNCTION ROOM Our large Function Room is set up in a private and exclusive area, situated on the 2nd level of the motel above reception. The Function Room has a private bar, balconies and a kitchen available for events that require catering. The room is an open space which can be transformed to suit any event. BBQ Menu
$50 - Fresh bread, rolls a selection of salads, meats & vegetable haloumi
skewers + caramelised onions and sauces.
$59 - includes the above plus BBQ king prawns, oysters & snapper.
Dessert can be added onto the BBQ Menus (optional).
Buffet Menu
$70 - Charcuterie platters, fresh bread rolls, 2 roasted meats with sauces &
condiments, a selection of salads and sides as well as dessert.
Shared Feasting Menu
$80 per person
Grazing Platters served to the table for guests to share among themselves.
This allows guests to enjoy a variety of options. This menu style includes
bread, salads, 3 meat dishes with sides of vegetables as well as dessert.
2 Course Sit Down Menu
$75 per person
All sit down menus include bread & butter and alternate service.
For 2 course you can choose between entree & main or main & dessert.
3 Course Sit Down Menu
$80 per person
All sit down menus include bread & butter and alternate service.
Choose two selections from each of the entree, main and dessert menus.
All sit-down menus are seasonal, so please contact us for a copy of
the current menu when you are booking your event

Accommodation
Recently renovated in 2018 our accomodation was awarded a four star rating
from Star Ratings Australia. The Matador has 54 rooms so please speak to us
if you require a room onsite for your guests.
We have Queen, Twin and King Rooms as well as 2 x One Bedroom
Apartments and 2 x Family Rooms (QB & 2 x SB)
All rooms rates include a complimentary continental breakfast.
Flowers
Add a touch of colour to your event with floral arrangements!
We work with a local florist to provide whatever style you require, with
arrangements starting from $40 per vase.
Audio Visual
Should you require additional AV equipment we can organise this for you
through our local supplier.
PA Sytems start at $85.
Transportation
We can assist with transport to or from the venue, to ensure that your guests
arrive in style and get home safely. This includes taxi services, hire cars and
private buses.
