For collections and other exhibition shipments, it is recommended to make use of the external
warehouse service for NEONYT 2019.
The forwarder of choice can deliver / pick up the consignments at the external warehouse address.
A time-phased delivery to the stand and pick up from the stand will then be booked through DHL.
All shipments should be packed properly and marked clearly with the exhibitor information to ensure
a correct identification.
ATTENTION
If you are going to send your shipment from a 3rd country (out of European community) and
customs clearance will be required – please contact us at fairs.ber@dhl.com. We will then
send instructions to ensure that there wont occur any problems concerning customs
clearance and that your shipment will be delivered in time.

Handling services will be charged according to the official handling tariff.
Gladly we can also submit an individual offer, including transport and handling service.

Shipments sent by courier services (DHL Express, FedEx, UPS, TNT, etc.) directly to the exhibition
ground will be received at the DHL SERVICE DESK.
Please note that courier companies are not licensed to deliver or pick up the goods directly
to / from the stand – due to security reasons, access is granted only up to the DHL SERVICE
DESK.
• Exhibitors can easily pick up their shipment at the DHL SERVICE DESK or book a delivery up to their
stand through DHL onsite.
• Shipments must be sent on a “pre paid” or “DDP” basis (all charges paid by the sender including
the payment of duties and taxes) to the exhibition ground of NEONYT.

Handling services will be charged according to the official handling tariff.
• ATTENTION:
After the show, return shipments can be handed over to DHL at the DHL SERVICE DESK to order a
secured storage until pickup. Pickups only possible via external warehouse. Please read next page

On the last day of the show Thursday July 4th 2019 as well as before, exhibitors will still have the
possibility to book a pick-up service from the exhibition booth through DHL. Their shipments will be
brought to the DHL external warehouse, where they are stored until pick up through a nominated
transport company. Late pre-advice surcharges will be applied for shipments booked after above
mentioned deadline.
Attention ! Please note that all goods left on stand on Thursday July 4th 2019 – 8 p.m., will be
picked up chargeable and brought to our external warehouse until pick up through your
nominated company.

HANDLING OF EMPTY PACKAGING MATERIALS AND GENERAL STORAGE
• Storage of empty packaging
Materials will be picked up from the stand, stored during runtime and be returned automatically to
the stand after the end of the show.
Please note that DHL is not responsible for items left in cases or cartons stored on an “Empty Cases
Basis”. Such responsibility will be at “Owners Risk”.
• Storage of full goods
Materials will be picked up from the stand and stored during runtime.
Delivery of stored full goods needs to be advised with date and time for the re-delivery in order to
avoid theft, damage, etc.
Attention! During official exhibition time there is no option to get access to stored packaging
materials.

Transport Services
DHL is offering all exhibitors professional advice on the preparation of their shipment. Through the
“DOOR TO BOOTH” service, exhibitors will get an all-in package that covers all the steps from their
domicile to the venue and vice versa, until all items are returned back after the event.

Your advantage: You take care of your participation at NEONYT, we take care of the rest.
Insurance
As long as a waiver of the forwarders insurance is not issued, insurance premiums incur for transport
as well as handling. These premiums are counted and calculated per order. The amount of the
premium is determined by the declared value of the goods rounded to full EUR 1,000.00 as well as the
type of services.
Minimum value: EUR 10,000.00
- For handling services: 0.4%
Please note that DHL is not liable for any losses, theft or pilferage for goods left unattended on stand.
Late arrival / Pick-up surcharges
Any shipments arriving/picked-up after designated deadlines will be subject to a late surcharge of an
additional 25% on official tariff.
Accepted Methods of Payment:
Please note that no extend credit terms for services performed are available. Invoices raised are for
immediate settlement by the following methods.
Credit Card: Accepted are Visa and MasterCard.
Cash: A cash payment in EUR is possible onsite at the venue at the DHL SERVICE DESK.
BASIC CONDITIONS OF CONTRACT
The contract forwarding agent operates exclusively in accordance with the latest version of the Allgemeinen Deutschen
Spediteurbedingungen - ADSp - (German Freight Forwarders' General Terms and Conditions). These limit in clause 23 ADSp the legal
liability for damage to goods according to Art. 431 of the German Commercial Code (HGB) in case of damage to goods whilst in the
care of a forwarder to € 5/kg, in case of multimodal transports including sea transport to 2 SDR/kg and in addition to € 1 Million per
damage respectively to € 2 Million per event or 2 SDR/kg whichever is the greater. The parties agree subsidiary, that (1) clause 27 ADSp
does neither extend the liability nor the responsibility of the forwarder for agents, servants, employees or crewmembers beyond legal
regulations as Art. 507 HGB, Art. 25 MC, Art. 36 CIM, Art. 20, 21 CMNI for the benefit of the principal, (2) the freight forwarder as a
sea carrier is only liable for fault of his own part in case of risks provided in Art. 512 paragraph 2 no. 1 HGB (default in navigation of the
ship or fire on board) and (3) the freight forwarder as a carrier defined in CMNI is relieved of liability for default in navigation of the ship,
fire on board or defects of vessel under the conditions mentioned in Art. 25 paragraph 2 CMNI. Unless mandatory provisions to the
contrary (e.g. CMR, The Hague Rules, Montreal Agreement) are applicable. In case of transport, storage or other handling of objects of
art, the latest version of the Standard Terms and Conditions Art (“GBT Art”) shall apply.
