The house of the future will be a 2.0 home since it will entail a high level of interoperability between users
and everything inside the home, ensuring effective control, security and energy saving.
Since the rise of new technologies and telecommunications, such as the Internet and digital interfaces,
experts have been increasingly focusing on the development of a new science called home automation,
meaning "DOMUS" (home in Latin) and "ROBOTICS". Home automation is therefore a field dedicated
to the study of technologies designed to improve home quality life..
SOME DEFINITIONS BEFORE GETTING STARTED
What is Home Automation?
The field that researches technologies applied to the domestic habitat. The main focus is on environmental issues,
in terms of energy saving, and on the improvement of people's quality of life, making it more
comfortable. A smart home helps to automate repetitive tasks.
What is Building Automation?
Building Automation is the "big sister" of Home Automation and studies the interoperability between the different
systems in a big building.
The system consists of two essential and interconnected parts:
Hardware: physical devices (actuators, sensors, controllers) that make a building smart and automated.
Software: systems (programs, smartphone Apps) to configure the hardware, following specific control and
communication logics in order to guarantee the integrated management of all the existing systems in a building.

With Wüdomo Smart your traditional home system is about to change!
Thanks to Wüdomo Smart, you will be able to manage home temperature, the switching on/off of lights, the
opening/closing of blinds, roller shutters, gates and swinging doors.
It does not require a computer to program the devices, as they can also operate independently. In addition, they
can communicate with each other thanks to the temperature control suite and you can easily manage all devices
from the dedicated App on your smartphone.

Wüdomo 11The Wüdomo Smart chronothermostat is the core of the system.
This chronothermostat/humidistat meets high-quality home safety requirements and its local and remote system control
is extremely user-friendly. Optimized heating and cooling management thanks to the integrated humidity probe. Built-
in WiFi connectivity, coupled with the App's geolocation feature, allows you to keep your home's temperature and
humidity at optimal levels with no energy waste. The Wüdomo Smart chronothermostat is compatible with a 230V
power supply and low voltage, along with smart relays, and can be integrated in existing heating and air conditioning
systems.

Module for installation in three-module boxes or roller shutter boxes, enabling the control of up/down automations
with internal limit switch. It features four inputs, two for automation motor control and one for monitoring the all open/
closed automated scenarios. The module features two outputs. If a properly configured chronothermostat is connected

This power supply with stabilized DC output can be used to provide power to
the boards. It allows a variable input voltage value between 85 and 264 V/

Geolocation:
Save money on heating when no one is home
and pre-heat the rooms just before you get
back. By activating your home geolocation and
setting the thermostat's range of action, you can
activate the energy saving function (Economy or
antifreeze or standby) when all the connected
users are not home. At the same time, you can
also activate the pre-heating function in order to
return to an already cozy warm home.
Automated scenarios control and individual home automation attributes management:
You can manage every aspect of your home lighting and automation attributes directly through the App, thanks to the
remote control feature of each single element. In addition to the automated scenarios (all on/off and all up/down),
you can control each single home lighting/ automation attribute, checking in advance if your light is on/off or your
roller shutter is up/down.

chronothermostats to the same system, the
App allows you to control all your rooms
and modes from a single screen, as well as
to set or change temperatures. In the case of
multiple hubs (e.g. first house, second house,
office, etc.), all the different systems can be
connected to your account, in order to be
easily monitored and controlled from a single
App.
18 WüdomoWeekly programming: You can program the chronothermostat in order to set the desired temperature on
each day of the week. For instance, you can set the thermostat to the “economy mode” during working hours, while
switching to a more pleasant temperature at the weekend, according to your habits. Have you planned a trip out of
town for the weekend? The geolocation function optimizes energy consumption without affecting the weekly program,
automatically switching to the “economy mode” when you leave and pre-heating your home to provide a cozy warm
environment when you return. Thanks to the programming “copy & paste” function on different days, you can save
time during the first configuration, thus simplifying all the operations for the different days of the week. Moreover, you
can program up to 8 time slots.
LOCK mode: To make sure you do not change any setting unintentionally while cleaning the chronothermostat,
you can set the LOCK mode. The touch screen will be deactivated for 20 seconds so that you can easily clean your
device.
