- HANGER MONTSEC INOX -R102 is a fall protection A type of anchor device according to the standard EN 795:2012. This equipment shall
not be used outside its limitations, or for any purpose other than that for wich it is intended.
- Users of HANGER MONTSEC INOX -R102 will have to be in normal health conditions. Do not use this device if you suffer symptoms of being
sick. Neither if you have taken not suitable medicines to realize dangerous activities or use of machinery. Neither if you have taken alcohol
or drugs.
- A rescue plan shall be in place to deal with emergencies that could arise during the work.
- HANGER MONTSEC INOX -R102 is a personal issue item. Install one HANGER MONTSEC INOX -R102 for each of the workers involved in the
job. This anchor device is used as part of a fall arrest system, so the user shall be equiped with a means of limiting the maximum dynamic
forces exerted on the user during the arrest of a fall to a maximum of 6 KN.
- Always use authorized and certified equipment in combination with this device (ropes, carabiners, etc). The use of not approved compo-
nents can cause serious accidents and may result in sever injury or death.
- The HANGER MONTSEC INOX -R102 should only be used for personal fall protection and not for lifting equipment or any other purposes.
- Always carry out a pre-use check of the installed HANGR MONTSEC INOX -ER102 to ensure it is in a serviceable condition and operates
correctly before it is used. Replace this device with a new one if it presents any crack or deformation or if it presents symptoms of external
corrosion. In good conditions, this device should have to support a test traction that would consist of effecting a strong pull down and
towards out. HANGER MONTSEC INOX -R102 has to be completely fixed and not to move with this test.
- In case of a fall taking place during the use of this device it will have to be replaced immediately for a competent person. HANGER
MONTSEC INOX -ER102 will not be able to be re-used without the written assent of a competent person that it is acceptable to do so.
- Maximum deflection of the HANGER MONTSEC INOX -R102 and displacement of the acnhor point shall not demonstrate deformation of
more than 10 mm. in the direction of loading.
- HANGER MONTSEC INOX -R102 is intended for use in a fall arrest system. This device should always be installed in a point positioned
above the worker’s head, in a completely vertical line to avoid pendulums in case of possible fall.
- If it is avoidable, HANGER MONTSEC INOX -R102 will be placed always above the worker’s head. If it is inevitable to use this device in a
position below the worker, the device would be placed always near the worker to a distance of not more than one meter below, in a comple-
tely vertical line to avoid possible pendulums in case of fall.

- Full body harness is the only acceptable body holding device that can be used in a fall arrest system! Use always a full body harness.
- Observe safety precautions in the installation of the HANGER MONTSEC INOX -R102. The installation of this device should be make by
competent persons or organizations, and verified appropiately.
- Avoid the contact of the device with chemical reagents, any electrical, cutting or abrasive item that could affect the integrity of this
device during its use.
- Avoid sharp edges when installing HANGER MONTSEC INOX -R102. Trailing or looping of lanyards or lifelines over sharp edges may cause
serious risk of injury or death.

- Carry the HANGER MONTSEC INOX -R102 in the packing supplied by the manufacturer. Reject the device in case of blows, deformations or
falls taking place or if it has been in contact with chemical abrasive elements during the shippment. The device must present a brilliant
and new aspect before being installed, without blows or cracks or deformations.
- The limit of the safe useable life of the HANGER MONTSEC INOX -R102 is 10 years. After that deadline, the device will be replaced for a
new one by a competent person.
- In environmental normal conditions the safe useable life of the HANGER MONTSEC INOX -R102 can be prolonged. Carefully examine
always the condition of the device before its use when it has been installed previously to our use. Also carefully examine the physical sup-
port on which the device has been installed. If the device or the physical support present any kind of blow, deformation or crack, install a
new device in a safe place.
- The bolt used in the assembly of the device will have an strench of a minimum of 12 KN. The system will be installed in base material
capable of supporting this minimal load of 12 KN. Concrete and steel structures and structural parts where the work is realized, are base
materials suitables for the use of this device. The installation process shall be done by a competent person.
- HANGER MONTSEC INOX -R102 must be inspected for the user before every use making sure itself that the device presents physical good
conditions and that it does not present any blows, deformations or grazes or abrasions.
- Avoid the use of previously placed HANGER MONTSEC INOX -R102 in chemical abrasive environments. If it is necessary the installation of
this device in chemical abrasive environments, the worker will install a brand new device in each work.
- Replace the device if the HANGER MONTSEC INOX -R102 markings can not be readeables.
- HANGER MONTSEC INOX -R102 can not be repared. Always replace the device if it presents any blows, deformations or grazes or abrasions.
Alterations or adittions to the HANGER MONTSEC INOX -R102 are strictly forbbiden without the manufacturer’s prior consent.
- Any repair to the HANGER MONTSEC INOX -R102 is strictly forbbiden. If the device is in poor condition or presents any kind of degradation
it will be rejected and immediately replaced.
- KOP DE GAS SL recommends periodic examiniations when HANGER MONTSEC INOX -R102 is used frequently. In case of periodic use, the
device shall be examined at least every 12 months. It is recommended the anchor device is marked with the date of the next or last ins-
pection.
- The periodic examinations are only to be conducted by a competent person.
- The safety of users depends upon the continued efficiency and durability of the HANGER MONTSEC INOX -R102. Do not misunderstand the
accomplishment of periodic examinations by a competent person or a competent organization.

39A PPROP R IATE USE IN ST RU C T I O N S M O NT S E C R102 - KOP DE GAS SL will provide all the necesssary information and equipment to enable periodic examinations to be carried out by a compe- tent person. - If the marking of the anchor device is not accessible after installation, additional marking near the anchor device is recommended. - If the HANGER MONTSEC INOX -R102 is re-sold outside the original country of destination, the resseller shall provide this informative notice in the language of the country in wich the product is to be used. - Any cleaning procedure of the HANGER MONTSEC INOX -R102 shall use a based-water and neutral ph soap suitable for stainless-steel, as for example a hand-dishwasher soap. - Store the HANGER MONTSEC INOX -R102 in a safe place. Avoid humid environments and chemical abrasive environments. Prevent the stored device from blows during its storage and its transportation. 40
