As we assemble for our 48th summer season, we always find pleasure
in the arrival of our palm trees and tropical landscaping that transforms our
Shipwreck Cove into a relaxing and inviting guest favorite!
We have updated our Main Lodge with new in room carpet and bedding.
The Ohio and Florida buildings received new kitchen counter tops. We
replaced our indoor Caribbean Key pool decking with “Ruberoc” which we
think looks fantastic!
We are excited to announce that we refitted all 240 guest rooms with new
door locks in which your wristband can now be used as your room key!
This along with many other winter projects has kept us busy as we
anticipate another great summer with the world’s best loyal guests! We
understand that you have many choices and we are truly blessed that you
have chosen the Francis Scott Key Family Resort as your home away from
home!
It is our managers’ and staff’s intention to meet and exceed your

Resort Policies
For your convenience, a copy of guest rules and regulations:
• Only our indoor swimming pool is lifeguarded. Please be mindful of posted rules at all pools. The Francis
Scott Key Family Resort can not be held responsible for pool safety.
• The Francis Scott Key Family Resort has a strict “ZERO TOLERANCE” noise policy. We consider “family
wind down time” to be around 11:00pm. Excessive noise may result in additional charges if it becomes
necessary to compensate other guests as a result of noncompliance with our quiet hours. In addition,
following a noise complaint, you and any guests in your room may be asked to leave immediately. You will
not receive a refund.
• Guest wristbands are required. Each guest must wear the wristband given to them upon arrival while using
our guest amenities. Lost or stolen wristbands will result in a $25.00 replacement fee. This is not refundable
if they are found or unused at the end of your stay.
• If outgoing calls from your guest room exceeds $10.00, we will ask for payment and your phone will be
turned off until payment is rendered.
• If any malicious damages are done to your room, a charge will result. If destruction to the room
and property is evident & intentional, you may be prosecuted to the furthest extent of the law.
• No Refunds Issued after check-in for any reason.
• No Pets Allowed. If a pet or evidence of a pet is found in your room or on property, we will ask you to leave
immediately. You will not receive a refund.
• Our liquor license prevents open containers of alcohol to be brought into the restaurant and pool bar where
alcohol is sold and served. Please be respectful of this policy.
• All property “common areas” are monitored with video surveillance equipment 24 hours a day.
• We are unable to give out your room number to anyone that inquires. This is designed to protect
you and your guests.
• We are not responsible for items left in your room.
• Please obey all posted pool, playground, putt putt, and sprayground rules.
• We are a non smoking property - all guest units are non smoking. If evidence of smoke is found
in your room during your stay or upon departure, a $200.00 “room recovery” fee will be charged to your account.

Resort Services Front Desk Please dial “0” to reach the front desk. Our front desk is open 24 hours a day in season and is staffed with an attendant. Security Our property “common areas” are monitored with video surveillance equipment 24 hours a day as an additional safety measure. Security guards patrol the grounds seasonally. Housekeeping The Housekeeping Department normally operates between the hours of 9am - 4pm daily. Your room will be serviced daily between the above stated hours. Rooms posted with Do Not Disturb signs after 2:00pm will not receive any housekeeping service but a “care bag” will be left in it’s place. Cots/Cribs Cots are available for an additional charge per night. Cots are not permitted in any room that has a kitchen. Cots are also not permitted in any room that contains a sleep sofa or sleep chair. Please call the front desk if you would like a cot delivered to your room. In addition, we provide cribs at no charge. If you are staying in an end unit, we have provided complimentary mattress toppers for the sleepsofas and sleepchairs. Gift Cards We have gift cards available for the resort and Route 50 Diner. Makes a perfect gift! Be sure to get yours today! Lost and Found For more information on lost & found articles, please call our front desk and they will direct you to our housekeeping manager or supervisor. Wake-Up Services Available 24 hours a day. Please dial 300 from the telephone in the room and follow menu instructions. Alarm clocks are provided in every guest room. Wi-Fi Internet Access Our wireless internet access is property-wide. There is no charge for this service. See the back cover of this magazine for our current wifi password.

the Center of the propery next to the outdoor
Pool. Soap and detergent are available for purchase
in this area. This facility is well lit, has security
cameras and is accessible 24 hours with your guest
keycard.
Ice Machines & Vending
There are several ice machines and vending
areas located throughout the property. Vending
machines are on the sunporch, guest laundry
and in the Florida Building. Ice machines in the
Florida Building and Guest Laundry are 25 cents.
Our Lobby ice machine is free. 10 # bags of ice
are sold at our gift shop.
Basketball, Volleyball,
Cornhole & Playground
These activities can be enjoyed from 9am - 10pm
daily in season. Basketballs, Volleyballs, and
Cornhole bags are available at the front desk and
at the Gift Shop. Please return them when you are
finished using them. Try your hand at Cornhole
on the Lido deck at Shipwreck Cove too while
enjoying our amenities!
The Francis Scott Key Family Resort offers a Family Lounge and Sunporch for your
enjoyment. Checkout our ‘popcorn and a movie’ schedule. Our lounge is also a

outdoor pool, an indoor pool, and a sprayground on
our property. The outdoor pool and sprayground are
open seasonally and the indoor pool is open year-round
with hours that accommodate our room occupancy.
CARIBBEAN KEY I N DO O R
Our Caribbean Key Indoor Pool is open daily. The indoor pool features a hot
tub, water slide, dumping buckets, drop-down movie screen, and a spouting whale.
This is the only pool on our property that is life guarded. Please be mindful of the
posted rules and obey the lifeguard on duty at all times.
PIRAT E S H I P S PR AYG R O UN D
Our Pirateship Sprayground is open daily in season. Small water slides
and spouting cannons decorate the “Sea Witch”. Wristbands are required.
There is no lifeguard on duty - only an attendant. No glass is allowed
in this area. Please abide by the posted rules as only small children are
allowed on the pirate ship. NO TEENS or ADULTS.
SHIPWRECK COVE
Our Shipwreck Cove Pool is open daily with weather permitting
during the summer season. Shipwreck Cove is not life guarded. A
